At the end of october, we were called by IDC club from mississauga to let us what we won a free trip to las vegas. I kind of feel this is odd since there is no such thing as free trip, if we did not enter a contest to begin with. So my wife and I decided to attend the presentation and after we were convinced that we could join for 2 years. It was supposed to be for 10 years for 3K membership but we balked at the membership price and ask for 2 years for around 1K in fee. In the contract, it says that we would receive the free trip to las vegas and 150 dollars as amex gift cerfiticate. So far we have not received the american gift certificate and i called so many times but never get back to me.
But in the contract, it mentions about the 150 dollars gift certificate to be given but so far we have not received anything since then.
Honestly, I feel relieved for joining for 10 years at 3K but i still have to fork about 1k for 2 years because my wife and I were not sure if this is real or not.
