As usual, the rep for idearc came knocking at our door 3 weeks before the deadline of the book. An offer was made to increase the ad from 1/2 page to full page at a nominal increase. We agreed, now is the fun part. They sent us a rough draft of an ad that was a blow up of our half page ad with some changes. We did not like it and proceeded with our own ad only to find out that they were ready to print the book with there ad layout and not our new ad. We made a lot of noise about this and got idearc to accept our new ad layout and was told it will be in the new book.
Well the new book came out and to no suprise, the old ad was in the book and not the new one.
idearc cam back to us with an offer of $800.00 credit to be used towards and future advertising that is above the old dollar amount. They would not offer us and cash settlement for there mistake. We di not accept this and finally they offerd us the full cost of the ad, about $1600.00, Now this is per month of spending.
We do not wish to increase any advertising with them and now we are very up set.
Can anyone help us.
