I ordered the windstorm vacuum Nov 2005, buy 1/get 1 free + free steamer! UNKNOWINGLY paying a total of $393.00! It's March 11,2006, kept hearing it was on back order. Asked for refund in Feb, 2006 still haven't received it!

I ordered an IGIA/Millinex Windstorm vacuum in November 2005, they took a total of $233.90 from my account on November 17,2005, a second installment of $79.90 on December 1,2005, and a final amount of $79.90 on December 2,2005. Not knowing they took this much out of my account at one time I had overdraft fees of a total of $60.00!

I was suppose to get 2 vacuums, buy 1 get 1 free, and a free steamer. I was planning on giving 1 of the vacuums as a Christmas gift. I called just before Christmas to check the order status and was told it'll be another 4 weeks and was asked if I wanted a refund. I said no, I would wait for them to come in.

Four weeks went by, still no vacuums. Again I called and was told the same thing. So once again I waited. I called again in Febuary 2006, same story. Then I called in March, they said it was still back ordered so at this time I decided I wanted a refund. The person told me it would take 2 to 4 weeks to credit my account.

Four weeks went by, no credit to my account. I called again, then they said they would put a rush on the refund and should get it in 5 days. Five days went by, no refund. I called again. At that point they had given me a date of April 21,2006 for my refund. Of course, April 21st came and went, no refund! I called again, they gave me another date of May 1,2006. I told them if I don't have it by then I would be contacting a lawyer. May 1st has came and gone. I called again!

I did get the so-called corporate number (212)575-0500 I have called this number several times also. I even got a name of a person who was in charge of refunds (Monica Smith ext: 103) but of course she wasn't in. I got a day and time she would be in and called during that time, which was only 2 days later)

I was put on hold for a very long time and then the same person got on the line and said she doesn't work there anymore! I told her I was just given this name 2 days ago! She then told me that she works at a different corporate office and I asked for that number but she said she didn't have it! Now I am ANGRY!

I tried to get her to send me to her supervisor or manager or whomever could help me and she just sent me back to customer service! I then called her back and told her that I will be contacting a lawyer and filing a lawsuit! I am seeing a lawyer May 12, 2006.

If anyone else is interested in filing a civil suit please contact me!
