This sounded too good to be true.

I recently posted my resume on careerbuilder.com with a target for Customer Service position in the Atlanta area. I received a job offer from Impact 210 via email stating an assistant seen my resume and forwarded it to her as a possible candidate for a customer service position and to complete an online application for consideration. I completed the application, 3 days later another email was sent stating that since I completed the app. I am eligible for final review from the Customer Service Manager in my area...after completing another part of the application. finally the last email stated that they cannot offer me the customer service position but offered two other positions as a talent scout or casting manager.

Come to find out as I was yahooing...I typed the agency name in the search engine and there was a testimonial from this website stating the company was a fraud. To see if it was true I went and accepted the position as a talent scout (keep in mind I have no experience in this field) and I was considered for training as fast as a click of a mouse. No interview. the catch is the pay is based off people paying a fee. I would only get paid $1 off a $2.50 fee by the talent signing up on the website. No benefits, no nothing mentioned.

The company say they work with top professionals and companies such as MTV, HBO, Tommy Hilfilger, as the list continue.

I really can't say if it is a honest site for models but I know the job offers are not as good as they are played up to be.

Stay AWAY!!!!

started with them before they changed to World Wide. They are a COMPLETE rip-off. He's got not contacts, he owes a great deal of money. Hell, he still owes me $1400 from October and threatened a lawsuit if I call him again! It's a bad sign when your paychecks bounce and then he pulls cash out of his pocket and pays you 1/4 of what your check was.

If you want to model, dont pay for photos, do photo shoots for free at first. In the process you get free photos for a portfolio. Eventually you will have enough and NEVER paid a dime. Or better yet get an agent! I know a lot of people who make a great deal of money doing it themselves. They check castings and shoots all day and send a few photos here and there!

He steals other sites postings and claims they are his. He use to have his casting guy troll other sites, aka Craig's list, one model place, etc... Yes once in a blue moon they get a call for models and actors. You will have more of a success if you have the talent to model or act doing it yourself.

Also, people who came close to their three months of work, were either let go or not paid at all. Three months was the key for medical, subway cards, etc... No one made it three months because they couldnt afford it. His success stories are the biggest crock! Ask a few other people who worked there! He's the greatest story teller since Baron Munchausen.

All those people who email you for jobs don't exist. The people who run his place are Mike Fromkin himself, his ex-wife who takes all the angry calls. He's too much of a coward to deal with the calls. She may not even work there at this point.

Oh and good luck getting your money back! He will avoid you like the plague and claim you signed this and that! BTW ask for what the LLC stands for on his paychecks that are hand written? Because, his companies are not registered as an LLC! He did however have a nice profile on himself and he previous scams on 20/20!
