Found online, Javier Gonzales enticed us saying he had long-term employment for me and my helper. We worked about 50 hours the first week gutting a kitchen and a bathroom in Blue Island. We did the best work we know how to do. He payed us at a minimal rate but expected us to pick-up materials for him and take the construction debris after working 10 hour days.

We didn't mind doing everything he requested because he would promise to compensate us for our extra work. By the end of the second, long, six day work week we finished the project with praises from the customers. He told us we would continue working for him at another project the following week where we would get payed for our second week. We showed up to find out we couldn't work that day because the customer supposedly, didn't want to pay him. That was when he began to tell us he simply ran out of money to pay us.

He first asked us to wait a few days and we did. Then after a week he said he didn't know when he would be able to pay us. Then he stop answering our phone calls. We called, left voice mails and sent text messages but he didn't answer. He robbed us. He deserves to be behind bars. The sad part is that his kids are growing up with that example.
