This is a copy of the report I filed with the; In The Swim Company:
I ordered a Hayward Star- Clear Plus C900 inground swimming pool Cartridge Filter.($249.31)
A few days later you sent a box of chlorine tablets.
I called "Customer Service" I was told I would be emailed a Return Authorization within 2 days so I could send back the chlorine tablets. When you receive the tablets- then you would send out the correct order. As an alternative if I paid you (again) by credit card you would send out the order.
This results in my waiting for the original order followed by waiting for the Return Authorization, then waiting for the order to be refilled and then shipped out. Then I could wait for you to credit my credit card. I was told there was no expedited shipping available and there was no way to quickly ship the correct order other than by paying again.
All to correct YOUR mistake.
Further, although I asked, I was not connected to a Supervisor.
I don't actually expect you to correct any of the above. I was told repeatedly during the conversation that "it's our policy". Further, I expect as you to read this to feel the situation was was handled exactly as it should have been. That may well be- but you can be sure I'll never do business with you again and I'll be sure and spread the word.
Sort of makes you wonder if "your policy" is really all that supportive of customer service.
