I started an account with Inbox dollars nearly a year ago. I have visited their site and/or read "paid" e-mails from them almost daily the entire time my account was active. By doing so, I accumulated $25.36 in my account - just a few dollars short of the $30 they require you to have in your account before you can request payment from them. Shortly after I accumulated the $25.36 in my account (within a week), I stopped receiving e-mails from Inbox dollars, so I visited their website to see what was going on. It showed my account as "deactivated per my request". I did not request that my account be deactivated. There is no reason for me to do that - especially as I was so close to meeting the requirement of a $30 balance in order to request payment from them.
I spent a lot of time reading e-mails, watching advertisements, and filling out surveys I qualified to take, and would like to be compensated for it. So, I've tried to have my account re-instated by sending e-mails to the e-mail address they indicate on their website, but to no avail. They haven't responded to any of them. I've also tried to contact them through the live assistance option on their website, where I was redirected to a chat page, but nobody ever showed up to chat. I've tried this option every day for the past week without a response from them. At this point... I have no doubt this website is a scam, and they are not only ripping off the people who read the advertisements and offers they send out, they are ripping off the advertisers as well.

Fair enough - you reinstated my account after my original post on this website, and I've regained access to yours. However, I did not receive a "do not reply" message from my attempted e-mails to you, and I am still unable to access live chat assistance. Also, I am no longer getting paid e-mails to read - in either my my e-mail, or spam folder. I have not changed my e-mail address, so I'm not sure why.

InboxDollars is not a Scam

InboxDollars is not a scam and has paid out over $20 million to its members. There are a number of reasons an account can be deactivated and it sounds like your situation is a bounce-back error which is initiated on the user end, not InboxDollars. InboxDollars cannot determine the exact reason, without looking into your personal account. We do not provide support via email. We have Live Chat assistance available on InboxDollars 24/7. Please click on the Live Chat button and a representative would be happy to help explain your personal issue and re-activate your account.
