James Lisi and his company Increase Visibility are a complete and total rip off. Before I go into detail let me just say that I am a previous customer and have emails, invoices and voicemails to prove it and will happily send them to anyone that is interested.

First off when you sign up for a free sep report they send you this crappy report that is hard to read and understand. After that they have someone call you over and over and over trying to get you to sign up for their services. We agreed to their 6 month plan, though they said that we really needed to sign on for at least a year in order to see top results. The pay was, $2500 per month for 6 months but rest assured you can "cancel at any time." We signed up but because of our partner being laid off we didn't have the funds to start the campaign right away. This did not sit well with James or his bull dog Greg who emailed and called me everyday hounding me for the money. "You signed a contract, where's the money?!" "I thought we were starting but you still haven't paid, where's the money Michael?!" If I haven't given you any money and you haven't done any work, you've lost nothing so shut up!

Skipping forward 3 months...after spending $7500. We have seen no change in our rankings and the reports they have provided, which are suspect and available for anyone that would like to see them, provide no really answer to why we haven't seen any change. Upon emailing Jim (who was "in charge" of our account) he tells me that we have to wait, keep paying the monthly fees and we will eventually see a change...

After 5 months we had moved up 1 spot on google, the links they promised to build we dropping and had zero effect. I emailed IV (as they liked to call themselves) telling them they I refuse to pay for the rest of their services and would like a refund. I got no response, I called and left a message at their office and received no response. I had hoped that they would at least stop "working" and not bill us again. On the 6th month I got a bill and received another on the 7th month!!!!! Our "opt out at any time" contract was only for 6th months!

After 15 emails James finally emailed me requested that I pay for the 5th, 6th and 7th months! I told him I could get him a check as soon as possible for the 5th month but would not pay the rest he said "with such a high number of $6,200 due sending a check as soon as possible wont do it I am afraid, I run a company and we have bills of course and you got 3 months of work for free with zero payments which is totally unacceptable." 3 months of work for free?! He had to be on crack! We paid for everything but refused to pay when we realized his company was doing jack s**t to help our SEO. I apologize for the language but this really fires me up.

When I commented that the SEO had provided little to no ROI he said "As to our SEO work producing little or no ROI, that is a false claim and I refuse to believe this. I am having the team leader send me all work done and all reports to show you exactly what was accomplished on this project." Again I can forward anyone these emails, I want to make sure no one goes through what we went through.

There is so much more I could write but to sum up: after 10 emails and arguing with James he finally figured out that his a*s hat employees had halted work after I sent the email stating that we wished to end our relationship with them; he grudgingly apologize and told us that we no longer owed the $6,000.

If you read this and you are thinking about doing business with James or any of this companies if he owns anything other than IV. RUN!!! This was the worst business experience of my life!

BLATANT IMPERSONATION AND FALSE CLAIMS

AUTHOR: - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, December 02, 2011

Our usual response to inflammatory posts which are purported to protect the consumer is to point out the shaky platform on which they rest --  many complaints are simply slanderous, insulting accusations without due process for fair arbitration of an unresolved matter. Information is taken public solely on the side of the accuser, without prior notice available to the accused. Furthermore, there is an absence of function to remove false information unless a company or individual is willing to pay several thousand dollars to the gatekeepers of the company running the complaint forum, which is somewhat ironic (talk about Rip Off).

We agree that consumer protection is a valid and necessary part of commerce.  However, an anonymous blasting of a good business, in essence, does not protect anybody. A legitimate complaint should not require anonymity.

This particular report was not entirely anonymous as at the complaint was posted in the name Michael from North Carolina. The attempt at listing facts made it clear that the posting party was impersonating a previous client. It was a transparent attempt in that our business with that client was concluded over 6 months ago and the client is a gentleman. The Michael from North Carolina that we know is an intelligent busy guy not only running a business but also participating in many non-profit endeavors. He is not slanderous or ignorant (as is the language used in the report).  After calling and speaking with Michael, he verified that he did not post the report, in fact, he was not even aware that the site existed.

We cannot say who posted this complaint as we are having our legal counsel handle the matter. However, readers please beware. Many of these sites are smoke and mirrors aimed to scar businesses and individuals in an attempt to further private or business gain.

As always, we welcome direct contact with questions or concerns regarding our business:
