Indtool, Inc. Deceptive Practices, Complaints, Marketing Hype from Indtool in Burlington North Carolina

I'm an quality consultant for a firm in Chicago, IL. It recently came to my attention that yet another machine shop (Indtool, Inc) is claiming to comply with all elements of ISO 9001:2008. This makes me angry when companies like this try to dupe customers into believing their quality system is compliant to ISO without any 3rd party valid certification from a registrar that is  ANSI-ANAB (http://www.anab.org) accredited. This is deceptive and it really makes me angry. Why try to fool people?

If these companies like Indtool are actually compliant to ISO 9001, then why aren't they certified with a valid certification? For me personally, and many other business owners, espeically when it comes to manufacturing services such as precision machining, it is essential to us the manufacturer is ISO certified. Especially critical parts such as aerospace and medical. Come on people, don't fall for the game these companies like Indtool, Inc. are playing. 

Folks, do not be duped these deceptive tactics playing the "We are ISO compliant" game. I would not trust any company engaging in such practices. Find a vendor that is either ISO 9001 certified or at least does not try to deceive customers into believing they are compliant to ISO standards. Everybody and their brother can claim they comply with ISO standard - it does not mean they do!! Keep that in mind.

I'm on a mission with other quality consultants to reveal every company that plays the ISO compliancy game. I say to you all... either get certified or stop trying to dupe others by claiming you're "ISO compliant." Got that Indtool, Inc? Stop the BS!
