When I picked up my car I notice the a thick cloud of white smoke was coming from the tailpipe when I started the car. I was told by the service rep Melissa. That it should burn off in a couple of days. Two weeks later is still smoking

We found that the expansion valve for the air conditioning has gone bad. There are also at least two of the a/c actuators that have stopped working. We believe that the actuators not moving, which has restricted air flow through the vents is what caused the expansion valve to go bad. I have talked to David, who has agreed to go ahead and cover the cost of the expansion valve, and has discounted the actuators. To replace the two that we know are bad, you are looking at $375, if all five have gone bad, it will cost $920. After getting the actuators and valve replaced, we will be able to test the rest of the system and evaluate the performance of the compressor
