infinity-micro.com came up during a search for my desired network switch through Yahoo! shopping.  I should have used another site that rates their sellers (or allows buyers to rate sellers, more specifically) because I have experience my first internet-based shopping rip off.

I ordered a new HP Procurve 2124 network switch for just a few dollars less than the next highest priced seller was asking.  I received the item seven days after my purchase (btw, the seller's return policy states that items can not be returned after 7 days) and in a box that was wrapped in what looked to be a black garbage bag.

I opened the packaging to reveal a generic box (the type I see often times when I have ordered something that has been refurbished).  Inside the box was one item--the network switch, a used one, with absolutely no other items in the box whatsoever.  No power cord, No mounting brackets, No screws for fastening the (missing) mounting brackets, No papers nor materials, nor cards of any kind.

I went straight to the web site to find my order and demand retribution.  I soon learned about their return (or anti-return) policy and the hefty restock fee and, in addition to that, that any return shipping (assuming I could return it) would be out of my pocket...so now I can pay to have them f*# k me more.  Good.

I have also complained to Yahoo! for allowing a known scammer to even appear in their search.  Follow the money, though, and I'll bet my complaints fall on deaf ears...after all, Yahoo gets their cut either way.
