I've been sending in rebates for booze to Inmar for years now, at least 10-12 times over the years. At least half of the time they deny a rebate or send a partial payment (ie $12 for a $20 rebate). I have notified them each time via their website that I have copies of all receipts and that there was no reason I should be denied the full rebate. Each time they responded back that they reviewed my submission and will correct the mistake by sending me the balance of the rebate.
This is only after I have contacted them. This is a total scam since they know most people are not as persistant and will just let it go. Are the people working at Inmar keeping the difference on the money they don't rebate? One can only wonder.
Bottom line, make copies of your receipts and don't take their BS when they say your rebate is invalid. I have never had to produce the copies of my receipts, they just send me the money they tried to keep from me. Seems like a pretty guilty reaction if you ask me. Almost like...oops, we just got busted, better just send him his money. If this happened once or twice I could see it but this has happened at least 5-6 times now to me.
Each time I responded though, I did get my money.

Well, no sooner did I post my complaint, they did it to me again. I sent is a $60 rebate complete with all receipts clearly highlighted with a yellow marker on each receipt showing each of the 6 bottles I purchased.
They sent me a check for $40, not $60.
I replied on their website that I had the correct submission for 6 bottles all within the specified dates and that there should be no reason for me to have not received the full $60 rebate. I mentioned that I had copies of all the receipts (I learned to make sure I make copies after I got screwed the first time by them a couples years ago) and that I would be glad to send them copies.
They did reply promptly within a couple days and today I received the same old response I received each of the other times. "I have reviewd your submission and have issued you the additional $20 that you should receive in the next 30 days".
Lesson is, they will try to deny or short you on your rebate. Make copies of the receipts you submit and don't take their denial without emailing them back on their website. All I can figure on this is that they must get a cut of what they screw people out of. If this happened once or twice, OK. I have been through this way too many times now for this to be an "honest mistake".
