A sales rep from this company has visited my salon 3 -4 times in the last month trying to sell us a credit card machine. He told us that our fees would be .65 per debit card transaction and 1.68 % of credit card transactions. We met with him on Friday 8/24/07 to finalize the details and sign the agreements.
He put each of the stylist who wanted to use the machine on the phone with a rep out of their CA office who spoke extremely fast about the terms and conditons. We heard her mention that there was a min. $25 fee and we interuppted the call and asked him what this was about - He assured us that it would be fine - we would have at least one transaction a month that would cover this. We found out today 8/28/07 that he lied. We have to have $25 in fees or pay a min. of $25 a month (directly debited from 4 hairstylists personal checking accounts).
Now we've all called the company to try to get out of the agreement a that was just signed two days ago. All of the representatives refuse to help us get out of this deal and say that we have to pay a $295 termination fee (for each stylist that signed the agreement). We don't even have the credit card machine at our salon yet! We don't know what to do?? The representatives are very rude and won't even give us the sales representatives phone number!
