Fraud = NO. Sneaky and underhanded = YES.

AUTHOR: Kathy - ()

It's not fraud.  Sneaky and underhanded, yes.  But not fraud.  By signing up for the $1.00 trial, you were also signing up for a membership with auto renewal.  The only way to void that was to call and cancel BEFORE your $1.00 trial membership expired.  This is all spelled out on the page where you signed up for the trial membership. Since you didn't call BEFORE your trial membership expired, your account converted to an auto renew account and you know the rest.  To be honest, you were very lucky that they refunded any of your money at all.

Yes, their product is worthless and they make a living off of folks like you who don't read the terms of their contract when they sign up for the trial membership.  I understand that you are angry but this is as much your fault as theirs.

Always check here and on other sites and do a GOOGLE search before you sign up for ANYTHING online.  That should also apply to any contract you enter into.  There is always small print (and sometime not so small print.)  It's a sad state of affairs, but you have to read it all.  Others might be saved the same aggravation by reading of your experiences here.  Thank for you posting about it.

I doubt you will get any addition funds returned to you at this point.  Chalk it up to a learning experience.

After sending them a strong mail they refunded 2 x 29,63 $ to my Credit Card and told me that there will be no new charges. They signed me out!!!

You Have To Read the Terms

AUTHOR: Kathy - ()

This company provides a worthless product.  And their website, with it's flashing notices and warnings about the sensitive nature of the information they will provide, doesn't help.  But you didn't read the terms when you signed up.  It clearly states on the same page -- you don't even have to click and go elsewhere -- that you have to CALL them to cancel.  And until you do, the account will remain open and convert to auto renewal.

It's fine to complain about their worthless product.  But the charges made to your credit card are exactly what they told you they would be.  Don't be made at them because you jumped into something before reading the details.
