I started working at Instinct because I was a recent college grad and the pickings were slim. Caleb Simms, the man who "owns" the company sat me down and promised me 700 dollars a week gaurenteed. So I decided to give it a shot.
Utter b*******, they make you sneak around businesses and try and sell makeup to people without getting caught in the store. If you get caught you sneak back in and try and sell to the customers again. None of the owners have cars (funny huh)? So they make you drive if you have a car and they make you drive up to 200 miles a day and never give you gas money.
Oh and guess what you start at 730 and if you have a car the bosses force you to give them a ride home, once again with no gas money. So any profit you make goes right into your tank.
By the way I hope you like working from 730am to 10pm, and only getting one day a week off. They treat you like utter crap if your not part of the inner circle, luckily I was so they were nice to me but still tried to skim money from me and take has money from me, only Caleb and another girl named Sarah did that though.
All these guys claim to be making 1500 bucks a week yet they can't give you has money or afford a car, so they run yours into the ground. I quit today after an hour long conversation to get the money that was promised but only after I threatened to report him to the labor board and the IRS, then he magically had the money to give me like he promised.
Please stay away from these people they are not good people whatsoever, in the inner circle they call the regular guys "ants" because they do all the work and can squish them at any second.
They train you to sell to minorities because they are an easier sell, especially Hispanics. It's disgusting. Oh and they claim to only do business to business selling they train you to sell on the street to everyone, even though that's illegal solicitation, you always have to watch for cops because they really don't have a business to business license.
Did I mention that they have changed the company name 6 times during the past 2 years, if that doesn't give proof enough then there you go. Also one of my "trainers" stole my Xanax script from out of my car. She swore up and down it wasnt her but the next day a guy tells me he bought some Xanax off of this girl, my Xanax, same milligram and everything
S**** these people and Caleb for lying and don't fall into this trap, just a warning.
