  Who are you to make the false claims that I'm the dangerous driver! You just like to add insult to injury and want to give accident victims a hard time and unjustly blame them! Here we go again with people think they know It all. They do not know what really happen so they need to quit, trying to put the blame on me.

Progressive blamed there insured, but the judge knew them personally so he ruled In there favor.

Which Is conflict of interest.

Charles, I'm just guessing here, but based on my experience working for Progressive in customer service, I think you made some incorrect assumptions about insurance. As someone else here stated, we pay the ACV or actual cash value of a vehicle in the event of a total loss. So, if your car was only worth $1,000.00 at the time of loss, that would be the amount you would receive.

If your claim was valid, there may have been other coverages that might have applied, such as bodily injury to pay your medical bills.
If you were in the process of disputing your claim, it COULD have taken 2 years to resolve. Most claims are resolved within days if there are no disputes as to ACV or bodily injury, etc. I don't know the real story here, but if Prog owed you money, we would pay out - just maybe not the amount you were hoping for.

As to blaming Prog for your issues with the insurance commissioner and the courts, please do not do so. We have no control whatsoever on these people no matter what you might think. That kind of thinking smacks of paranoia.
In the future, you should always keep a camera or your camera phone with you in the car. Take photos of the scene before moving your vehicle. Exchange information. Call the police. If you are in a parking lot, don't bother as the police will not respond on private property. Take photos instead. Get witnesses or at least the license plates of witnesses or their photos. And if I may ask, where was your insurance company in all of this? Were they helping you at all? They should have been.

Always keep in contact with your insurance company. Call them at least every 6 months to check on your policy. Be aware of your coverages. Ask questions. At Prog we encourage you to check your policy online and to call us with concerns and questions. Despite what you and others might think, insurance companies like Prog are not out to "screw" you; we're here to help you if we can, but you have to help yourself too by being aware and responsible.

Progressive lawyer was a scumbag, they had the nerve to act the way they did.


They had already blamed their insured for causing the accident, then they tried to deny In court.


The judge ruled In there favor because he was friends with them, he told us this when we filed court action.


This Is what pissed me off how I was unfairly treated, the judge should be fired from his job because this Is conflict of interest.

Well I thought It was over with, but progressive settle that day on 08

(08/29/2005).


We did not have to pay the full balance of $15,000 on the loan, the finance company agreed to settle for $5,000.


Because the a-holes @ progressive prolonged this for two years.


The date of the accident was on (09/12/2003). It was almost 1 month when we filed court action 08/2005. And then the crooked judge ruled agaisnt me.


But It still got settled anyways, there was nothing the a-hole judge or progressive a-hole lawyer could do about It.

That's very good advice, Wil. Unfortunately, since you told the truth about how insurance actually works, Charles will pay no attention and will continue whining about how he was treatly unfairly. He has absolutely no concept of reality, thinks he knows it all and believes there is a conspiracy against him and his mommy. Truth be told, my 11 year old grandson has a better grasp on reality and FAR more intelligence than Chuckie can even dream of.

Based on Charles' grammar and spelling (and obvious inability to use spell check), we know that your not necessarily the brightest crayon in the box. What you fail to realize is that any insurance company (not just Progressive) owes the "Actual Cash Value" of your vehicle, not what you owe to your lien holder. You paid more than the car was worth, or have an extremely high interest rate, or probably had a car that depreciates in value faster than any other (IE Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Kia, Hyundai, Saturn, Geo, etc). No insurance company is responsible for poor financial decisions on your part.
As the claim not being settled over this many years, you were obviously holding out for more money because you were upside down on your loan.
An insurance company's definition of "Actual Cash Value" will take into account the obvious year, make, model, options, and mileage on your vehicle, but also remember that if you have any prior damage to the vehicle, then there will be a deduction taken for that damage.
One very simple thing to remember if you are ever involved in an accident in which you are not at fault: You didn't hit the lottery!

Yes the judge did rule unfairly he told us he was friends with progressive insured when we filed the court case.

He was going to rule agaisnt me anyways, we then should had filed court action where the accident happend. Where the judge didn't know either us.

I didn't cause this accident. But progressive wanted to blame me & not pay anything which they fought for two years after the accident, had to file court action to get them to pay.

The judge let progressive insured off the hook because he knew them personally. This Is conflict of interest & was unfair towards me, & there a****** lawyer.

The manager of progressive over ruled the adjusters decision & put the blame on there insured, the just also knew this that progressive blamed them for the accident.

But he still ruled In there favor because he was friends with them & he personally knew them.

I don't know why we had to go to the court where progressive insured lived, why couldn't we go to court where the accident happend where I lived.

The judge was very unfair towards me he even admitted he knew them personally when we filed the court action agaisnt progressive insured.

But then again these court judges get away because court systems are corrupted. And I believe that progressive Is paying judges to rule agaisnt people.

The judges decision should be thrown out because he knew them personally & this was conflict of interest & he should not be judge anymore.

But judges can do what they want to, well progressive settled the very same day 08/05/2005. They paid $5,000 & my finance company agreed to settle for that amount.

I lost my very first car but I gotten a new car which progressive hated, there insured took my transportation away so they where going to pay for me a new one.

All john does Is bash and bully people so does stacy. And to everyone telling me to grow up ya'll should do the same.

your progressive report is a fraud as the was filed way after the 'alleged settlement'. Or, there was no settlement. Again, which one is the lie deabeat?
And, the insurance commission is not your personal crying service.
So, how could you afford a lawyer since you claim to have no money and can't pay what bills you have?

This complaint Is agaisnt the insurance commissioner office for them failing to help before It got settle. Progressive did settle but only after filing court action on there insured 08/2005.

Progressive settled that same day 08/05/2005, I am however upset @ how the insurance commissioner office unfairly treated me & said progressive has violated no laws or did anything wrong.

The insurance commissioner office did not help @ all that Is what this complaint Is about. Accept cause me more emotional & unnecessary stress like progressice.

Progressive still wanted to still fought us even after they said there insured was @ fault for the accident It took two years from 09/2003/-08/2005 for this to be settle.

And my car finance company was fixing to take me to court even though I had no money to pay them, but thank god my car finance company settle for $5,000.

Progressive paid $5,000 to my finance company. But I am upset @ how the insurance commissioner office treated me & wouldn't help me besides make my problems worse.

I also got a new car & progressive paid for that we had to, because we had no other means for transportation.

either this report is a lie (not surprising) as you DID get paid by the insurance company and posted this at least 2 years later or they did not pay any settlement (as they shouldn't have) and you really did not sue them (more believable since you claim to have no money and a lawyer is not about to lose his practice filing fraudulent lawsuits nor is he going to work for free for deadbeats).

The reason why they don't help us Is because they work for the insurance companies to screw us & not give a fair settlement for how there insured causes the accident.

Insurance companies and Insurance commisioners are in no way shape or form related or "in bed" with one another. Two complete seperate things. Companies are huge while comissionors are small offices in each state. Neither has any reason to be in cahoots with the other one. And no, the judge doesnt let people off that they know and I sincerely doubt your judge knew anyone involved or it is illegal for him/her to sit on the bench for that trial. I should thank the judge for ruling agaisnt me. We told progressive how the judge ruled cause he was friends with there insured this was (conflict of interest) & he should had never took the case.

But anyways I would like to thank the judge for him ruling agaisnt me, because it made progressive settled that day, so it did not get the judge anywhere buy ruling agaisnt me it helped.

This is one of the many dishonest things that go on in courts what this judge did. It helped progressive settled that very afternoon. Which this could have been settled long before the 2 years.

Progressive, ruined my life because of this accident which wasn't my fault no matter how hard they tried to put the blame on me! my car was totaled on 09/12/03, progressive tried to accuse me of me hitting their insured driver & the driver who hit me said i hit them to when they pulled out from their driveway!.

Progressive, told this same bull to the judge & he bought it the judge didn't care about me he was friends with the driver who hit me this is conflict on interest! progressive or their lawyer had no evidence to prove i caused the accident, they pictures they took of the side of their vehicle when they backed into me didn't prove a thing that I caused the accident.

Progressive, delayed my claim for two years! we never accepted their offers because it wasn't what we wanted why bother to take anything to court these days judges are just going to rule infavor in the insurance companies forget me the innocent driver in this problem. The judge was not far to me! nor was the insurance commissioner office they said progressive was not in violation of any law & they made every reasonable attempt to settle this claim that was a lie, progressive didn't try to resolve anything accept try to ruin my life! & my credit, & my health.

Progressive's lawyer falsely accused me of everything, & even said we failed to cooperate with them to resolve anything then the judge blamed us for it being so long the judge can blame progressive for not settleing it within a reasonable amount of time, they didn't settle for two years it had to take taken them to court to make them pay anything which it should be like this if the accident wasn't my fault!.

I pray to god that i am never hit or in a car accident with someone who as progressive insurance because they will put you threw hell they will not pay for your damange or they refuse to pay for your car when their "at fault" is responsible they will still fight you after the nightmare & anexity progressive put me threw, other drivers do not care about the damange they do to your car they hit you to try to collect money from your policy & @ the end progressive finds both people @ fault for causing the accident so they get out of paying any money. Insuance companies do not care if you go threw a traumatic experince or suffer pain & suffering or emotional problems they pay their lawyers big $ to make you lose in court so the "at fault" drive can do this to somebody else & ruin their life the judge ruled agaisnt us because he had an personal friendship with the driver who hit me so he denied my claim after me & my granfahter to them to court this is conflict of interest. The judge had a personal friendship with the driver for progressive insurance which made it bad for me to win & the judged ruled agaisnt us & the judge blamed us for this being so long he can blame progressive because they were the ones prolonging everything ignoring us refused to return our phone calls not coming to an agreement it had to take them to pay anything by going to court the judge didn't rule in our favor, but we where going to appeal it to higher court progressive knew then they would lose so they paid anyways without having to appeal it. But still progressive put me threw hell for two years refusing to pay anything!.
