On June 13, 2014, I ordered a sectional sofa made by Palliser from Sofas and Sectionals.com. My order consisted of a sofa component (seats 3), a loveseat component (seats 2), and a corner curve. I discussed extensively with the sales representative Rob Slayden by phone how I wanted the sectional configured. Shortly after placing the order, I received an email of the sales order. It correctly described the order I placed and the configuration I wanted – LHF loveseat, RHF sofa, corner curve.

On July 29, I received an email from Shara Williams, whose signature block indicated she was the customer service manager for Interiormark, LLC, advising that my order would be completed the 2nd week of August and shipped soon after. She asked that I review my sales order, and let her know of any issues. I again stated the configuration I wanted, and asked that she review my order to ensure what was being made conformed with that configuration. She replied on August 18 that my email got into her spam folder and she did not see it and that what had been made and shipped might not be what I ordered. She asked that I accept the order and she would work with me to return any incorrect components.

I received the order on August 22. The sofa and loveseat components were the reverse of what I ordered. Per Shara's instructions, that day I contacted Shara to advise her of the delivery of the incorrect components. Shara advised that she had opened a “case” on my matter and would work towards resolution. Over the next month I exchanged a number of emails and phone calls with Shara, and when she was out of the office, other staff. My sense is that Interiormark is playing rope-a-dope with me and trying to outlast my will on this matter. I believe they have no intention of resolving the matter and exchanging the incorrect components for the proper ones. I am stuck with components that don't work the way I intended and with a company that does not stand behind its customers to simply deliver what they ordered.

It appears that Interiormark LLC is the parent company, operating a number of market-segment focused web sites such as bedroomfurniturespot.com, curiocabinetspot.com, entertainmentcenterspot.com, fireplacespot.com, sofasandsectionals.com, theaterseatstore.com, and officefurniturespot.com. I would be very wary of placing an order thru any of these web sites. In my experience, the company will not resolve their errors.
