The Dream is gone!

I was a former student of IADT from 2006-2008, when I first began to go to IADT the expriencewas a new one.  Later to be financially ruining my family which has made has made me contemplate suicide at times, I was lied to about accreditdation and transfers of grades to another school and loans were taken out in my name without my knowledge.

I started to do research on the school itself and found out there were loans being taken out under my name when my parents already had set out loans for my education through the parent plus loans, the ammounts were altered to be more than the orginal amounts when I discovered theses things and started to ask questions about the loans that were being placed under my name, I was never given an answer and sometimes told that the changes were because tutition was increasing for certain students which didnt make sense at all.

I will always remember the day I went into the finacial aid affice and over heard one of the officers tell another co-worker that "theses people had no idea the scam that was being put on them" which didnt click in my till later hearing all the complaints of this school. Right after I decided to stop going to IADt after I felt that I wasnt being given the truth to my questions, and left with more questions.

Basically in shock that theses people knew this scam was going on. My parents were furious with me for putting them in this debt and to this day we can not talk about the situation without it turning into a scream fest.

To add to the drama were going to loose or home and in finacial ruin, there have been times were I have seriously thought of ending it all but have held back because I need to make something out of myself for the future for not only myself but my parents which are retired and very ill. I taught that by the time I was 23 I would have at least started the rode to Idependence but my dreams which I had so wishfully prayed for atlast are gone and Im having to figure out what to do with all theses loans and debt that Im in now.

I believe the total amount is nearly 70,000 and growing. If anyone could enlighten me with some glimmer of hope I would really appricate it. I believe that as former students of this school of scam we should ban together and put an end to this rape of our dreams and hopes for a better future.
