There are alot of realestate schools out there.  But when your trying to learn real estate from someone knowledgeable, I turned to Investors United because I wanted to learn wholesaling and other investment ideas. I gave them 5k and they sent me email and login for webinar leaning for a year. After finishing my course they told me I couldnt use course again just to follow up on the things I was taught.  Imediately tired to get me to sign up for the 2nd course with them.  As i tried to get 1 on 1 learning from them.  I was only taught to just pay them more money.  When i did find a deal, I thought i was going to buy the property the creative financing way and they just told me to buy it outright.  So why the heck did i go to school for if they tell me that.  I think they are using there students to locate the deals and they try to partner with them but also charging 5k to teach them how to do it.  Makes sense for them.  They win each way.  I think they are capable of doing creative financing but I dont see them trying to spend much time on individuals, I really think its more about them then helping anyone.  I would find other ways to learn.  Im not a fan! I think i waisted 5k but its ok.  Everything is a learning experience.  Good luck to everyone that is trying to really get in the investment world.  Not easy!

This is a bogus compaint.  Not only do we not have any members in Alabama (including the anonymous author), we don't charge "$5k", and we certainly don't behave like what was described.  Strangely enough, just after this was posted, we received an expensive proposal from a company specializing in "reputation repair".  Fortunately, our reputation does not need repairing** but we find this situation disturbing nonetheless.  The real complaint here is that RipOffReport isn't more careful about making sure that complaints are genuine.  Frankly, we wonder if the source and the remedy are one and the same.

**91% of our members succeed in real estate.  We're A+rated by the BBB.  And we've received citations for good work in the community from the last two Governors of Maryland, the Mayor of Baltimore, the US Armed Forces, members of Congress, and other private and non-profit organizations.  Moreover, we do what we teach and teach what we do - our staff and our members are among the most successful and well-known real estate buyers and developers in Maryland.  We care very much about our members and about our community, and for anyone to say otherwise is simply disingenuous or uninformed.
