I bought a Bolt Zeus, Dubois Depraz DD2030 Automatic, actual cost $950.00 USD. Defective chronograph hands. Sent to service late October 2013. Paid $28 for return shipping. 4 months later watch finally came back to me. It was not only unrepaired but now the chronograph second hand wasn't even attached. I was told to send it back for priority service. FedEx delivered it to them for the 2nd repair on March 4, 2014. I have tried to find out what the new service case number is and what they are doing. In other words, is it going back overseas and I have another 4 month wait? I have been extremely polite and patient, but now they will not respond to my email inquiries.

I called their service phone number. I was caller 31 in the que. I waited 45 minutes to become caller 1 and then their service que hung up on me.

I have no idea where my watch is. I'm out $950 plus shipping plus the cost of service shipping, total about $1000.00 USD and it looks like I'm screwed. Am I supposed to fly to Hollywood Florida to get face to face with someone over this issue? The watch was beautiful, but Invicta service is really really bad. Maybe to the extent of being simply dishonest. I don't even know what more to say. I've been able to wear this watch for zero days since making the purchase early October 2013. It would have no less wise of me to simply take $1000 and burn it.

So my watch finally came back from a "rush" repair on June 1, 2014. Guess what? It still was not repaired. It is such a beautiful watch but I'm so frustrated and out $1000 usd. no fun.

anyway, I called Invica and pleaded for some mercy. The young man was helpful. He put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then got back on the line and said they would exchange it for the same model. I sent it back in for the third time. I now find that I have a shipment from Invicta arriving Tuesday July 1st, 2014, almost 10 months after purchase. I'm hoping it is my new watch. My fingers are crossed. I have yet to wear this watch and it is really quite beautiful. The Bolt Zues is my favorite Invicta model and I stepped up and spend some real money thinking I would get a quality time piece. I'll update on tuesday of the arrival of my watch. Wow.

Invicta Service Update

AUTHOR: bbach - ()

Finally got a hold of Invicta Service by phone. Long wait. First time I ended up getting disconnected but 2nd try I got through after a 40 minute hold time. A very polite rep got some info from me and then put me on hold for about 5 minutes. He came back and informed me that he found my watch. He apologised of course, but did tell me that it has indeed been sent back to Europe for repair and will be a priority repair but will likely take 8 weeks. He said they would not take a chance and would completely replace the inside workings of the watch with a brand new mechanism of the same Dubois Depraz DD2030 Automatic movement. So, actually, even with the long wait, I'm feeling better that I now have a new case number and I know where my watch is. At some point, I should actually get it back.
