 The odds are good that the meat was ACTUALLY stolen. WHY people like you fall for this scam is beyond me. Ive had a meat delivery service for the past 5 years. So I know those trucks get loaded. Sometimes a crooked driver will sell off the back of his truck. Still doesnt change the fact that you fell for one of the oldest scams out there. Does the term "You want to buy a watch" sound familiar? Its the same scam just with a different product. Firstly, YOU NEVER BUY FROM SOMEONE SELLING OUT OF A VEHICLE!!!

Secondly, YOU made the choice to trust someone you have never met to sell you good meat. NOW you want your money back. YOU hold the parent company responsible for something SOMEONE ELSE has done. That pretty much makes YOU a scammer. YOU made a poor choice and a poor purchase. How exactly can you expect Iowa Meats to do ANYTHING for you??

This is not a TRUE ripoff. Yes this person was scammed when they chose to purchase meat out of a parking lot. But Iowa Meats is a victim as well. They are victimized by this person who is looking for ANYONE to save them from their own stupidity. They think that if they post on a site such as this, the company being complained about will respond and give her FREE MEAT!!

Next time do not purchase meat like that!! This is YOUR fault for not being bright enough to pick up on the scam. The meat company has ZERO liability in THIS instance. THEY did not sell you the bad meat, that was some conman who you fell for their pitch. Sorry about your kids, but if youre looking to place blame, look in the mirror.
