If you want to atend a school that is ran by share holders, then ITT is the place for you! This school is a proprietary school. Which means it is not publicly funded by the government, which equates to.. you will only receive 1 pell grant and 2 federal student loans every 9 months. The cost to attend here is $20,000 (+) a year whcih equals about $45k for 2 years. Where at a public(state, jr.college) you could qualify for about 4 or more grants and federal student loans. Which means, you are more likely to receive money for school that you don't have to pay back.
Now, would you pay $45 for an assoc. degree in Business and criminal Justice? There is a reason why they don't tell you how much you qualify for on the first appointment. They will tell you the cost, but not how much you will receive. ITT tech focuses "on the dream" and truly belives that they are creating an investment and not debt. Well, if you look up the definition of debt, what do you get? Everytime that you sit in a class, you are considered a # for them and more money. There are some people who belive in ITT. ITT is a good school for some people who can not get anywhere.. OH yeah, let's not forget the likely hood that you will not receive employment that pays worth a d**n.. However, some do. ITT says" well $43k is not a lot... because it's ran by a bunch of rich, wealthy, political men who do not understand" the school of Hard knocks. " They feel that ITT is the saving grace and is the ultimate life saving way to go. OPEN YOUR EYES.. this company is ran by shareholders. Did you know it will cost you $493 per credit HOUR to attend? In additon, it seems as if the curriculum is created basically over night. Where as if you attend a state school like Indiana State, The University of Oklahoma etc., you have higly qualified professors, doctors, and teachers creating a teaching mechanism that will enable you and prepare you for the real career world. HOW do I know this information? Because I used to work there. Like i said before this maybe the place for you, but think about it and reseach it. The reason you are being called is not to change your future for the better.. but becuase the shareholders and the company are looking at you as a #number and more financial strength.

You are absolutely correct, I taught at ITT tech for almost a number of years I had really never got involved in the financial aspect of it at all, but from the student’s complaint I kind of figured it out. It's absolutely a joke, their education is zero to none, and you might ask why I stayed there for so long, the answer is because I cared about the students and I was making a difference and I have prove of that, the school advertise as if it is technical school , but the matter of fact the number of years years I was there they never used any technical materials , the labs were never used, you not allowed to fail students and I dare you if you do, you will not teach the class again, because they care about the numbers, how many student's you pass not how many students you have taught, and they know the trick very well, you give the student's A's then they are happy and will not to complain, an A would been hard to get in my class, I used to tell them find another school if you do not like it, because in the long run it's their future ( the student's that is) . So don't be fooled with all the TV ads and the Google and Yahoo ad's you are just wasting your money and time too, take it from someone who taught there.
