In the beginning of 2005, I received a telephone call from Stacy @ Iworks. This lady told me that her company was able to find me grants up to $60,000 or at least $20,000 (worst case scenario). After talking to her for a few times, I decided to take the offer. I was introduced to Stacy's supervisor. The supervisor said that if I signed up today, I will be expecting my thousands of dollars in as little as 120 days. Anyhow (said the supervisor), you (Kevin) must put a down payment of $600 to finance $7000. I told the supervisor that $7,000 is a lot of money to pay for something that is not guaranteed. The supervisor swore on her grandmother's grave that I would get my thousands of dollars. Anybody that makes a comment like that must really be looking forward to eternity in hell if he or she can't backup what was promised.
Once I joined the grant program, I was welcomed aboard by Kristen and introduced to Ken Cooper the great grant master. This Cooper guy made me jump hoops before the completion of my grant letter. A few weeks later after I sent over 50 grant letters, I got displeasing replies. The Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and a great many more replied that they are not allowed to give grants to individuals because of IRS reasons.
Iworks, maybe the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation are just cheap and selfish; if so, then the Ford, HP, and Kellogg Foundation are also the same way. There should be a boycott against Microsoft and Ford Motors for being cheap and selfish. It is too bad for you, Iworks, that the foundations I just mentioned are neither cheap nor selfish. These Foundations have ethical practices and cannot do what the government forbids.
After four months into the Iworks grant program, I received no money from any foundation. I still paid $200 a month for a whole year because I did not want to jeopardize my credit. Once I stopped making payments, I was contacted by Horizon Finance, then by Highlands Finance. I told these two companies that I will not be paying any more money until I get my $20,000 which I was promised by Iworks. I, then, contacted Kristen @ Iworks and she told me to keep paying the finance company: You must give it time. What kind of bullshit is that? Iworks cheated me out of $3,000 and want $5,500 (after finance charges) more. The stupid lady from Highlands Finance told me that if I did not pay my remaining balance, it would hurt my credit. I explained to her about Iworks, but she ignored me. I asked what happed to Horizon Finance: She said that her company is partners with Horizon Finance. I said, that is right, both of yah are partners: Partners in crime that is! After hundreds of phone calls from these finance companies, I started saying f***y** each time they called and then hung up. It is too bad they stopped calling me: I want to be able to take my frustrations out on somebody.
Below are examples of how Iworks sets up their clients and also how foundations refuse to go along with Iworks' illegal practices.

Abiding by the Law:
Dear Mr. Kevin ********,
Thank you for your interest in the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. One of the most difficult aspects of foundation work is being unable to provide assistance for very worthwhile causes.
Under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations that govern our grantmaking, we are not allowed to provide grants to individuals; only to nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
I would like to suggest, however, that you visit the Foundation Center's Web site (www.fdncenter.org) as an alternative resource. Their grantmaker Web pages (located in the Finding Funders section) provide direct links to nearly 2,000 philanthropic organizations, which I hope will be helpful to you.

Dear Mr. Kevin *****,
Unfortunately, the Kellogg Foundation does not scholarship or study grant programs in which we can provide the assistance you are requesting. We hope you are able to secure the necessary funds from other sources. Thank you for your interest in the Kellogg Foundation.

Dear Kevin ********,
We have received your request for scholarship money and will be unable to help. The Foundation does not have a scholarship/financial aid program and cannot legally provide funds to individuals for any purpose. We regret we are unable to help, but please be assured your request was carefully examined.

Iworks, my proof is very solid. God knows how many people are going to read this report and research your company. Prove me wrong! If there is a solution to this problem, then resolve it. If this matter can be resolved, I will definitely give credit where credit is due. Maybe there is a misunderstanding, but until there is a solution, your company is close to tarnish if not tarnished already.
