We thought we were being very careful before choosing Izzonet by using their 30 day free trial. Our initial website seemed to function fine, so we signed up. BIG MISTAKE!
As soon as we published our website the load speeds went to a crawl. 10 to 30 seconds to load a page (if at all) was normal. The amount of sales we lost due to this issue will never be known. But it is known that the vast majority of potential customers arent going to hang around very long with
load speeds like this. The only customer support I could ever reach (at that time) was live chat. [continued below]....
Its typical of Vakho Baratashvili and Netalie Manor to lie to you and tell you what you want to hear then forget about you. We were continually told of a new platform they were very excited about which would be released very soon that would fix all the problems. Yeah right!!
The slow load speeds was just the beginning of our problems. Soon after signing up, our product pictures started to mysteriously disappear at random. Sometimes 2 or 3 a day, sometimes 2 or 3 dozen a day. Again the only customer support I could reach was live chat who said they was working on it and would get back to me as soon as they had a solution.
After many weeks of the same issue I finally complained enough and was able to get Izzonet to help me reload pictures since at one time there was over 150 pictures that needed to be replaced. They uploaded pics for us 2 times then they gave up and avoided the issue since they could never fix the problem.
At one point we had to hire a third-party to reload pictures since it got so overwhelming and time-consuming, we simply couldnt keep up with it. We couldnt afford to keep doing that so we gave up
altogether. This has been going on for over eight months and Izzonet cant fix it to this day. What a great customer support team!
Then about four months ago I noticed our prices on most of our products had suddenly changed. All of the sale prices we had were wiped out and the prices went back to the MSRP price.
This covered over 75% of our products meaning we had to go into each individual listing and manually change the price which wouldve been very time-consuming.
At this point customer support is nowhere to be found. Numerous phone messages were never ever returned, live chat has been cut off, and emails are avoided. And since I couldnt get a hold of customer support I couldn't tell them about the new issue regarding international customers not being able to check out. Another issue Izzonet wont or cant fix.
Despite all these issues we are currently still paying to keep our site live through Izzonet. That will soon change since we have been forced to start over from scratch and build another website elsewhere (something we should have done a long time ago). Unlike most services you pay for, if youre not happy with them you simply get rid of them. With an e-commerce website its not that simple. Izzonet has had our website held hostage for almost a year now with false promises and deception not to mention the amount of money we lost dealing with them.
How Izzonet can legally continue to take peoples money for services they cant and dont provide infuriates me like no other. They shouldnt be allowed to continue to scam consumers, yet they do!
