Oh where do i begin.
I was in the area and i stopped in to apply for a job. The Website said they opened at 8am, they opened to the public at 10, and phones are open at 9, so thats a total screw up.

I went for the interview, and was met by John, and co-owner Barry. I had to take an "Personality and Knowlege Assesment" was going to take 45mins, took me 15. I sat in the interview and they told me "You have the highest scores since i started 17yrs ago" according to Barry (co-owner). John sat in a couch silent, saying he "he was next in line for the position and was learning." I went through the process and they took a good hour talking. It was pleasent and personable. They were "So intruiqed by by personality and scores that i had to start the next day". I, being out of the career feild so long, agreed and proceeded in.

I was anxiously awaited by John (guy in training to be the Big Shot) who swiftly escorted me to a conference room. I was given a plethora of paperwork, and it was all standard things i had seen in the past. No problem. I was then reading the Employee Handbook, and john swiftly returned, told me to sign the back page and hand it in with the other paper work. It simply stated that i agree and will adhere to the handbook, fine i signed, figured i could read it later, as most employees do or should. Then i caught a red flag, i was being moved around the building to quickly, first a Morning Pump Up Hudle, and then a very quick transition back to the initial confrence room, where i gathered with the other trainee's (i started on day 2 of training), followed by a very EXCITED Barry. Red Flag 2 of many more: Barry was going over sites to use and not use in reference to "creditble testimonies" He said Never go to BBB as it only calulates the last 3 of the 12 years, however his stats were that they had only 22 complaints out of several hundred thousand customers in the three years. And NO Company is that good, i don't care how good you are. He further explained that He had been there 17 years. Now how can someone be with a company for 17 years, if they just opened 12 years ago?. Later in the training Barry expressed the fact that they had gone through an Overhaul, having had just 12 positions a year ago, he had transformed the company ten-fold to 125 internal employees, and close to 600 external technicians. The whole time the building was busy and bussleing with overly excited reps on the phones calling people. I ended the day just listening to my manager going through the prompt, and i myself studying the prompt, and role playing with the 5 other new hires.

The next day i come in and i'm greeted by the building with so much enthusiasm, i was starting to wonder what was in the coffee they provide. I went to my newly assigned desk and started calling. NOT A SINGLE SALE from 12pm to 9pm, almost 150 No Answers, and of the 6 i did get to have answer none were interested. Thats fine, it was my first day, and everyone kept telling me it was ok, i'll make it and be successful. I end the day and go home.

My last day is when things really started not adding up. I was told Overthinking would cause failure, time and time again, because i was being hard on my self for failing my first day when several other people had made sales who started with me. It was too emphasised, made me overtly cautious and really alert to see what was really behind the "motive". So i started calling and continuously got the reply that "We are on the DNC list, Stop calling us" and i was prompted to tell them "I do aplogoized but we got your number because someone had shown interest in purchasing a home security system in your household", when in reality we got leads from a web site and weren't sure any of them weren't from the NDNCL. Then magically Barry, took off on a "mini-vacation". Things at this point were just not adding up.

So i went home and started to dig. First stop... BBB.org and did a website search. Sure enought it was right there, and it had a Government Filed Lawsuit with Judgement for Improper Purchase on a DNC call list. It just so happen to be around the time when "We went under a severe overhaul" and the name on the suit was not familiar, a Jasjit Gotra, appearently, the Jay Gorta i had seen, but was never properly introduced to, and sure enough when i found a second listing under the company name, it was listed under Jay's name. So then i said, i need to dig further, and started to read the handbook. It's stated all employees could be terminated for the following but definately not limited to:

1)Fraud, or other proven acts of dishonesty(Jay, John, and Barry, did they not comit acts of dishonesty? Fraud for fraudulent use of a name in a Business Forum?

3) Obtaining employment on the basis of False or Misleading Information (didn't they Obtain My Employment on false and misleading information?)

19) Commiting any act, on or off company property, which threatens or is potentially threatening to the reputation of the company or ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES, CUSTOMERS, or VENDORS. (I'm an employee and they potentially threatened my reputation and or could bring me down in this scheme)

Furthermore the Handbook, it supposed to be contractual acknowledgement of the policy and rules, well that got demolished, because it's Alliance Security on the Front Page, and all the way to page 16 of the handbook where it changes to Versatile Marketing Solutions, Inc., which because it's a contract and is not duely expressed of the name change in the beginning of the handbook, make it NULL AND VOID? Thats the other thing. This company has had it's share of name changes, and i knew it when it was "VMS Alarms" but i guess before that it was Versatile Marketing Solutions, afterwards changing to "Alliance Home Protection" and then "Alliance Security" and finally "Alliance Security, Inc".
