Jennifer Convertibles ripoff Exton Pennsylvania

I have to tell you my tale of woe.

I bought a chair from Jennifer Convertibles on 12/30. It was a floor sample in perfect condition, a really nice red chair. I sat in it for some time while the sales girl tried to find the price (the ticket was missing). I am not a small person, so I would have noticed quickly if there was a problem. I also removed all cushions to make sure it was in good condition all around.

It supposed be delivered 1/1/2006 but they accidentally put it on a truck to North Carolina. I had to wait until 1/22 for the chair. When the delivery guys came, they dropped the chair and the arm flew off. They told me, that is the way it is supposed to be. I called the store, they told me to decline delivery of the chair and I would be fully refunded in 5-10 days.

In the meantime the delivery jokers had sat in the chair, the arm flew off sending one guy to the floor. Then before leaving, to convince me it was 'ok' they ripped the other arm off the chair and sat in it, both arms flew off the chair and the guy once again fell to the floor. They finally left, each of three with one piece of the chair.

So, every week I called the store to follow up on the refund. They were very polite each week, assuring me it was in progress. Finally this week the lady said I wasn't going to get a refund, the chair or anything.

IF YOU know if anyone thinking of buying furniture steer them away from this store.
