JJ Powell, Inc. On January 23, 2015, a JJ Powell Inc. employee came to our home at our request to clean our furnace.  I would like the part that was deliberately damaged by the employee of JJ Powell to be replaced. Phillipsburg Pennsylvania

On January 23, 2015, a JJ Powell Inc. employee came to our home at our request to clean our furnace.  The worker, Dave, decided to use a power cutting tool to cut a hole into the access cap rather than remove the cap to gain excess to the heat exchanger to clean it. He then showed my wife the jagged hole and claimed that it had eroded and was not repairable. He then turned the furnace off and related by law he cannot turn the furnace on as we could asphyxiate from carbon monoxide poisoning. My wife asked if he could do anything to hold us over until after winter. He said no, we needed a new furnace and that I could call JJ Powell to order a furnace that they could install next week. The furnace was never cleaned, as requested and needed; nor was the heat exchanger tested or inspected, as would be required by law; in order to have it justifiable disconnected from the thermostat. 

  I would like the part that was deliberately damaged by the employee of JJ Powell to be replaced.
