JKHarris Financial Services ripoff false promises most impossible task of trying to get a refund Emerson New Jersey

In January of 2000, my husband hired this firm to take care of IRS problems he had. We paid them over $2,000 in that yr, on a payment plan.

Since then, we were sent many forms to fill out that we did not understand. They set up a meeting with a person to help him so the paperwork. That was in 2001. We never heard a word, even though we called a number of times.

We just kept getting the runaround. Now, again in Feb. of 2003, we began calling & they told us the account was closed, due to inactivity. From that time, we have made and logged over 30 calls to them. Many times, a recording came on for us to leave a message. On a very few occassions, someone actually called us back, but we got nowhere , except for them to send more paperwork that we could not fill out.(Just too complicated for us to do on our own). Then, we were assignied a "caseworker" named Alice.

Many phone calls & many people later, I asked for my money back--that was in late Feb. On 3/3-03, a woman named JoAnne called and asked us to fax a request for refund letter, which we did that day. Since then, I have called 3 times, and now she tells me that it is out of her hands and we should be getting a letter to let us know if they will return our money.

The woman will not give us the name of someone who can let us know if this is going to happen. They act like they're are the secret police, speak down to you & absolutely will not help you in any way. We just want our money back so we can have our accountant help us with this problem.

Also, the IRS has never stopped sending registered mail to us, even though in the beginning they told us the mail would stop. I t is our feeling that they have never done one thing for us except take our monay & now give a most impossible task of trying to get a refund.

This story is much too long to tell in its entirety, but we have spoken to at least 20 different people who all give us the same story--they are working on it & will call back, but seldom so.
