Job Success is a rip off artist company, they said they received my resume when in fact I never sent it to them.  Some other recruter I had sent my resume to forwarded it to them.  I went in for the first meeting and filled out some forms,  I went over and read some of t he material t hey had left out.  When finished Richard asked me to come back so we could go over some details and get me started.  I assume this meant meeting the prospected employer.  When I went in the next time Richard started talking about forms and fees,  I ask what fees,  He said there was some cost invoulde for the evaluation, paperwork, online work ect.  When he showed me t he fees I freaked out.  I thought it might be around $8oo dollars???? because he mentioned it would cost about one weeks pay. The cost was $5022.44.  I freaked I told him I could not afoard to pay that.  He said I could put it on credit,  I asked about canceling after the fact he said you couldn't, and would set me up right away with one of t he councelors to get me going.  I phoned and emailed my bank they next day to stop paymetn on t he chq when I found out it was a scam but my chq had already cleared the bank,  ?They must have taken it to the bank the moment I left t he building because it cleard the bank the same day i gave it to them.  Anyways I called Richard and emailed him that I wanted a refund for the services and he told me I could not get one.  He says the contract states that there are not refunds.  I read over the contact and the only worded in regarding the fees that can't be changed.  It says nothing about termination of the contact, or canceling.  I have tried unsuccessly to work it out with them so now I have to send it to a lawyer to get my money back.  I am out of work now and need that money to pay my mortgage and food for my kids.  I was desperate when I went to them and suffering for my ilness, had been taking a lot of morphine and was not in my right mind when I signed that contract and paid them the $5022.44.  I am hoping that Report Ripoff might be able to help me get my money back.

Fell for the scam

AUTHOR: ashoor - (Canada)

POSTED: Saturday, August 13, 2011

Hey I fell for there scam. I contacted the ministry of consumer services and complained that they made verbal promises(goverment and companies give them jobs to find employees for them and all there jobs are internal and not advertised to the public) that were false but they were not on the contract. They said it would be difficult to get my money back because it's my word vs theres. If you heard them make the same statments can I get in contact with you to help me prove my case with the minsitry of consumer services, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
