We just stumbled upon your post.  The interesting thing about this situation was that you wanted to get paid Immediately, when the documentation we sent you clearly states we pay contractors at the end of the month.  Employees are paid on the 5th and 20th.  You elected to be a contractor which would have you paid on 6/5/13.  Even though this is when we should have sent you check we obliged by your request and sent your check early by processand mailing it on 5/22/13.  Your check did clear and you received full payment. 

Teretha first applied for our appointment setting position Monday 5/6/2013.  She shared that she is in North Carolina while we are in Washington and she would need to work from home.  We hired Teretha as trial contactor paid on performance.  She sent us her w9 and contract forms on Thursday 5/9/2013.  We sent her a list with instructions to begin calling Monday 5/13/2013.  She expressed that she wanted to do a 5 hour trial which we agreed to assuring her a minimum wage pay for 5 hours.  She completed her 5 hour trial on Tuesday 5/14/13.

She had some family issues come up and was not going to reliable.  We decided not to continue the working relationship. She demanded to have pay sent immediately because she needed it.  Per our agreement she was to be paid on 6/5/13 for her work performed during the month of May.  We did honor her request and cut and mailed a check paid in full to Teretha on 5/22/13.  Her check was received and did clear.  

It is silly that this negative post was made.  We made an execptiona and paid her early.  Still wasn't soon enough it seems.  We pay everyone, on time, everytime! Employees and contractors are very important to our company and as such we make every effort to bend over backwards when a request is made and to help out as much as possible.
