Just Energy WARNING "JUST ENERGY" SCAM Mississauga Ontario

 I got a visit from Emilio and his supervisor Luke, the Just Energy sales reps on May 15th 2013. I switched that day from Direct Energy to Just Energy believing that it would be cheaper and signed a 5 year contract.

The sales reps told me that I had 10 days after receiving my first bill to cancel my contract without paying an exit fee. This way I can compare bills and make a decision. The statement date of my first bill was July 8th 2013 and received it shortly after.

My first bill was $99.11 which is about average for the summer months. When I received my second bill (statement date Aug 12th 2013) and received it shortly after it was $183.45 (almost double) so I cancelled right away. When i got my third and final bill it was $942.59. Seems like a scam to me to send half the bill at first to make me think I am getting a fair price and now im stuck with having to pay the $942.59.
