Kaplan Real Estate Education University Kaplan University Published and misquoted Nevada Real Estate Law LaCrosse, Wisconsin

On June 28, 2014 I purchased the Kaplan Real Estate University study guide for the Nevada salesperson real estate exam.  The material misquoted the law pertaining to license renewal and continuing education requirements.  I contacted the customer service department to register a complaint. The representative told me my complaint would be researched.  When I did not get a return phone call, I contacted the customer service department a second time and was told not to rely on their material but to rely on the law.  That advise was given to me the day before my exam and I spent the next 24 hours studying the law because I could not rely on Kaplan's printed material.   A few days later the customer service department called saying the printed material had a mistake and they would issue me a 20% refund instead of full credit.  the cost of the material was $79 and they gave me a $15.80 credit.  I consider this gross consumer fraud and misrepesentation of service.
