I purchased several famous baseball signatures from Kaptain Kirk's online auction which included LOA's from rareandsigned.com. After receiving the autograph I found out from rareandsigned.com that they were fake autographs and LOA's.
Kaptain Kirk's Auction does have a disclaimer which states that it is the buyers responsibilty to veryify all items before bidding on them however he should know that these signatures and letters are fake because of the numerous amount of complaints he is receiving from customers that he is selling fake items.
It should also be the business owners responsibility that they take care not to sell items to the consumer that they know to be fake.
He claims to be an appraiser. If that is true then he should know that the items he is selling are fake but selling them anyway to profit from unsuspecting consumers!
