To Inspector

AUTHOR: Happyworker - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 09, 2011

Thank you for not only not answering my question, but thank you for deflecting by dictating to me that I'm a psychic. I don't see what that had to do with my question. If you bothered to read my post, I had said I don't know ath this point if I believe in Psychics or not and that. I'm actually a Transcriber, Article Writer and English Tutor and College Student Majoring in Mandarin so I can be a Chinese-English Translator for your information.

Now, it's great that your Meterologist tells you what's already happened with the weather, but why didn't your Meterologist or mine or any Meterologist or Geologist warn Japan of the Earthquake?

Please answer the question instead of telling me a Transcriber, Article Writer and Undergraduate Student Majoring in Mandarin that I'm a psychic.

Ramjet was right, people who are Believers or Skeptics do have a reading comprehension problem.

Ramjet was right about one thing

AUTHOR: Mickie - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 07, 2011

Ramjet was right about the reading and comprehension issue. As I have stated previously, I don't not tell people of my predictions, do predictions for anyone or charge for them due to the issues it may cause. You can tell someone what you know, but they will do what they chose to with that information, free will, which always comes into play with people. It's just  too tricky of a subject. Maybe I feel this way because I don't use my abilities for personal gain, it's just a part of who I am. But I will tell you there are "skeptics'' on here who have been burned by false profits, no matter what they say or deny. They are bitter and saddened by what and what did not come true and that is why they are on here in this particular string. That feeling is coming across loud and clear.

Why Is The Burden Only On Psychics?

AUTHOR: Inspector - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, April 07, 2011

Because you fool, you make predictions and convince those that pay that they will be fact.  You give them false hopes by feeding on their weaknesses.  You lie to them in order to get more money.  You tell them that if they don't do a certain thing or certain ritual (besides sending more money) that they will fail and be worse.  These last classify as threats.

And you dare to compare yourself with professionals that have an education!  You are a carnival act.  You are entertainment, and that is why you will never be outlawed, that is at least until you cause harm to the wrong person.

My weatherman has never lied.  He states the facts such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and the amount of rain or snowfall that has occured.  He then predicts with a percentage the next occurance.  You psychics, on the other hand tell your victims it WILL happen, you WILL find love, you WILL be happy, all you have to do is send money.

"Mickie,

Please surprise us all and predict when and where the
next major earthquake will take place. Please give exact latitude and
longitude of the epicenter and, the exact time of the event.

Actually, I can also predict the future. There will be earthquakes in 2012."

I will be 100% surprised when any Meterologist or Geologist tells us when and where the next major earthquake will take place. I will be amazed if someone with a PhD in Geology or Meterology wil lbe able to give the exact Latitude and Longitude of the epicenter and I will be really amazed and have my faith restored in people with PhDs in Geology or Meterology, if they can get the exact day, hour, minute and second and milisecond would be nice.

Again, not saying that there are psychics one way or another, so you can't deflect by calling me any of the colorful names to justify the fact that people with PhDs can't even give you that information. But like many others who nab psychics and demean them because they can't do what you have asked Mickie to do, you will still stand up for Meterologists and Geologists with PhDs who are supposed to be professionals and say oh it's not easy, or it's hard, or they're educated so it's not the same thing.

Why isn't anyone looking to the Meterologists and Geologists as to why we did know about the earthquake? But you like everyone else will have a bunch of tired excuses as to why people with PhDs in Geology can't even provide that information to that exact detail.

Why Is The Burden Only On Psychics?

AUTHOR: Happyworker - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 07, 2011

"Then how come you did not warn Japan of the earthquake and tsunami that
devasted the country? You could have saved thousands of lives "psychic"!
What a load!"

Okay, just so I don't get blasted by the skeptics that want to dictate what others believe spiritually, not that I don't. I'm not saying psychics don't exist and I'm not saying that they do. No one honestly 100% sure knows either way. Please don't attack me for my opinion on that by saying that we don't know.

Okay, lets assume that there is no such thing as a psychic because no psychic warned Japan of the Earthquake and Tsumnami that devasted Japan. Okay then Geologists and Meterologists are frauds too. Anyone that claims that they're a scientist specializing in the earth or the weather is a Fraud too. They collect money too. Why aren't we posting a ripoffreport on all Geologists and Meterologists, why are these specific types of "scientists" getting paid to predict inaccurate information? Because it's hard work or any number of tireless excuses to me that people make for geologists and meterologists to not be able to tell when and where in specific detail that an earthquake is going to happen.

Yet, we expect Psychics who haven't went to college for a PhD in Meterology or Geology or Earth Science to be better than someone with a PhD? I think those fields are a ripoff. But since they don't really do their job, Psychics have to or they're frauds because they failed to do the same thing that people with PhDs are expected to do.

This is why I always layer my clothing, why I always carry a coat, have a jacket, have an umbrella, just in case cause you never know what the weather will be, you can't go by what the Meterologist who's suckered tv stations and other places into paying them, says the weather is going to be.

So skeptics why aren't you blaming the Earth Science and Weather Professionals for not predicting the Japan Earthquake and Tsunmani and please no tired excuses.

It does not work that way

AUTHOR: Mickie - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 28, 2011

Vision just don't pop into you head. For me it's a feeling, a knowing. For example a friend of mine became engaged to her boyfriend, upon hearing of this news I instantly got the feeling, knowing, vision, whatever you want to call it, that this wedding would never take place and that they would not be together in the future and that is exactly what happened. For me I read people, not events such as earthquakes, and I have to be near the person to read them. So as for Japan I can not predict the earthquake itself, if I was in Japan well who knows. As for the deal thing, as I said before I do not do prediction and never will, do to issues it may cause and I would never charge or make money off of it. so no deal.

"YES, VIRGINIA, THERE ARE PSYCHICS."

AUTHOR: Dj - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 27, 2011

I do believe all people have psychic abilities.  I also believe there are many people who are able to develop those skills and use them wisely.  Being "psychic" is a God-given talent.  Like any talent, it is how we make use of the ability that counts.  Are we greedy and only concerned with making money?  Or do we recognize the ability as a gift not to be abused by us and not used to abuse others?   It is easy for anyone to claim to have the ability to foresee the future of others.  Kind of like developing magic tricks.  I have always heard that those who truly have "the gift" do not charge a fee for helping others with that gift.  Many of the well known "psychics" who appear on television, etc., charge thousands of dollars to unsuspecting people who naively believe in those "psychics".  The more one charges, the less the abilities are capable of "seeing".  We are here to help others.. not to take advantage of them.  People need to think for themselves.  They need to know they have the ability to create their futures and things do happen as they should.  We may never know the reason why our hearts are broken or we are filled with the sadness of disappointment.  But we need to trust in the Universal Love of God and know that everything that happens is for the best.   It is better to spend one's time working towards their goals, helping others, living life to the fullest, than to worry about what may or may not happen in the future.  The future is not set in stone.  We can make our lives - our futures - better or worse.  It's entirely up to us.  Save your money and take a nice vacation or invest in a home or place it in your savings or give it to charity.  It will be better used than sending it to people who are ignorant of what they should be doing in this lifetime.   No one can guide you better than you can guide yourself.  Meditate.  Pray.  Dream.  Never give your power away to another.  Use it for your own GOOD.  God bless us all.

A deal for you

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 26, 2011

Mickie - Do I have a deal for you.

I think all 3 of you would jump at the chance to ABSOLUTELY prove once and for all that you have psychic ability.  You can easily make a cool $1,000,000.00 by just going to this link and proving your ability under controlled conditions.

http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html

However, I am 100% certain that you will not do that and you will have one or more of a long list of ridiculous excuses for it.

Sorry, but you are a a fraud just like all the rest unless you can prove your ability under mutually agreeable controlled conditions.

Let us know when that will take place so we can all follow it.  Just think, you will a millionaire or if you don't need the money you can donate it to your favorite charity.  Also, you will be world famous.

Not holding my breath.

The psychic scam industry

AUTHOR: skeptic - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, February 24, 2011

As Shannon says, "People have their right to their own opinion."

You are of course quite correct. However, we are dealing with desperate people looking for solutions to the problems in their lives. Just look again at what the Original Poster said.

I myself don't believe in organized religion but would never tell a person not to seek spiritual guidance from a pastor, preacher, Rabi or whatever. However, when it comes to so-called psychics and, especially those on the Internet, that is where I will tell them to STOP!

The "psychic" will be paid and all the victim will have is a hole in their bank account. Guaranteed. If any so-called "good" came out of the encounter, rest assured it would have happened anyway. They would have had the same results flipping a coin and asking it what the future held. Heads it's a good future and tails it's a bad future.

POSTED: Thursday, February 24, 2011

Next you all are going to say there isn't a God, Angels are fairies and Demons are rats.  Goodness people. People have their right to their own opinion.  What is foolish is to believe that anyone on this forum can force their beliefs or opinions on anyone else.  Now that is what is foolish!  I believe that coffee makes me a better person in the morning and spend hundreds of dollars a month and thousands a year buying macchiatos from Starbucks.  Men lie to their wives about looking good in a particular dress but they tell them they do because it makes them feel better at the time.  If you're willing to pay money for someone to tell you what you already know (because all you have to do is trust your own intuition) then knock yourself out.  If people want to be addicted to responding to forum about psychics and putting them on blast, let them.  I find this whole argument and blog to be quite funny.

Lack of comprehension is a requirement in order to be a psychic.

You don't have to be personally ripped off by one of these charlatans in order to post a negative comment here. You just have to personally know people who've been suckered by them. You have to use your common sense to know that fortune telling, spell casting, and all the other claptrap is all a part of a huge industry that feeds off the ignorance and superstition of gullible people.

This is what the psychic industry is worried about. Negative comments - fewer suckers - less profit.

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 01, 2011

I'm a psychic trying to manipulate the search engines so I make more money.

If I had no conscience maybe I could do that, I don't know. I do like the beard though.

It's just so offensive to me that I read here and other places about people getting ripped off for tens of thousands of dollars and even their entire life savings for performing a bunch of silly party tricks. They're so absurd that it would be humorous if they weren't stealing money from people. It's difficult to ignore.

If it were just a matter of opinion that we disagree on I wouldn't 'say' anything. Differences of opinion are fine, I disagree on various things with my best friends. No problem. However, if I see them getting ripped off I would point it out to them and I would hope they would do the same for me.

However, I hate so much to see people completely taken for so much money that it's hard to ignore. You, of course are free to continue to give them your money, that's your business. Don't expect everyone to ignore it.

Don't you ever wonder why these people are spending their time in sleazy store fronts and ripping people off on the internet? If they truly had psychic abilities why wouldn't they jump at the chance to prove it once and for all under controlled conditions. They would be zillionaires and the world (including me) would beat a path to their doors. However, they will never agree to that and they always come up with tired ridiculous excuses for not submitting to testing.

Until they do that and succeed, I will continue to ridicule them and advise people to steer clear of them.

Believe me, I wish they could do what they say, it would be very cool. Alas, they cannot.
