I contracted Kentwood to provide a bottled water service for my business in May of 2013 for $23.99 per month. My credit card was charged a $50 deposit to get the service started.  I don't need to go into any details of why I cancelled the service within a month, just that I was very unhappy with the lack of service.  During that time I used two 5 gallon bottles of water.  To date I have not received a bill with an accounting ofv charges.  Instead, prior to receiving the dispenser and water, I received an e-mail saying I had an invoice due on my account, but when I clicked on the imbedded link to my statement, their webpage did not recognize me.  So began the fall into the rabbit hole that is DS Waters of America, Inc. billing practices.  Unresolved e-mails and calls, and the end result was that a couple of weeks later, I received a late notice postcard in the amount of $83. t took me several phone calls during which I was at a total disadvantage because all I had was an $83 figure.  They, on the other hand, were on the other end of the phone line rattling off charges to me that I could not confirm because, again, I did not receive a bill, just a postcard notice saying I was late and it was over $83, and again, having already paid a $50 deposit on a $23.99 monthly service.

Kentwood Springs/DS Water's MO is apprently to have thier reps agree with everything you say.  Oh, yes mam, we see the mistake and we're going tof isx it.  Yet their monthly statements reflected no prior conversations or agreements wtih the reps.

I ultimately received in August of 2013, 3 months after cancellatino of service, a bill now charging me for 4 separate services in June (after cancellation), that was for over $140.  I have asked in writing, and through the Attorney general of this state, for some demonstratino of legitimacy of this charge, but as always, have been completely ignored by DS Waters/Kentwood.  Also, despite at least a half dozen requests, I have never received an actual original accounting from Kentwood springs/DS Waters, only statments.  I still have no idea how a bill went from $23 to $83, to over a hundred, to over $50 to over $140.  Well I do know how it went to over $140, because I did receive an actual bill for that one.  But nothing for the others.

I continue to recieve monthly statement, which i just throw away without opening.  Today I received a call, so at this point, I may have to pursue legal action against kentwood Springs/DS Water.

AUTHOR: Tigger - ()

After reporting to Attorney General of LA and the BBB, I finally got resolution through BBB.  They claimed that there was a computer error (something that I pointed out endlessly to no avail), and assured that the account was marked paid in full and closed.  I'll update in another 60 days to see if that is true.  But for now, there is resolution.  Just sorry I had to go to these lengths to get it, and be forewarned that that's what it takes to deal with this company.
