Bank says it mailed me several letters asking me to update my account, and since I did not respond to the letters the bank sent, I am being charged 5 dollars for each letter not responded too. I feel this is another way that banks ropoff consumers. This should be illegal, and I hope some lawyer out there sues these jerks for this scam they are running now.

Re: $5 fee

AUTHOR: MM - (United States of America)

The company noted above launched a $5 returned mail fee in 2012 in order to urge Members who recently moved, to provide a change of address. The purpose of this fee is not to generate income, but rather obtain current and updated information from Members. The fee is refunded once the Member updates his or her address with the company.
