Kevin McDermott. not known Smooth talking con artist takes your money and doesnt start/complete jobs Langley BC

Posted an ad in Craiglist to have a small area under our stairs walled in.  Trades people responded and one person came by and gave a quote.  I was quoted $200 plus materials which I was happy with.  Afther the job was complete I asked to quote on replacing our stairs with composite wood and metal stringers.  He said it would be $600 and I also mentioned that I would like to get our fascia boards replaced with Hardie planks.  Total job was about $700 which I thought was fair.  After I paid him in advance, which was a big mistake, he never showed always providing excuses. He changed his phone service so that you can not leave a message.  He uses gmail as an internet address which can just as easliy be changed or deleted.  After a few days of not hearing from hom, I ended up finding out what his last name was and googled it.  Under Kevin McDermott this came up:

I felt sick to my stomach as my hard earned money was given to this con artist.  He is such a smooth talker and I feel betrayed by him.  I do not trust this guy any longer as he is full of excuses and lies. I have spoken with the RCMP and I am not proceeding with small claims court action.  Do not trust this guy or allow him on your property. I will find this guy as I toild him in an email, watch your back, I'm coming. Lesson learned, always pay when the job is compeleted and all my posts state this, without exception.  Karma will get this low life.
