I purchased a BMW 335i x drive from KG suzuki on 01/15/13. The car was a good price but then came the add ons $2300 for a 160 point certification that was supposed to make the car like a new car with 160 items checked off on a sheet of paper which is all it was because tha car needed brakes, the cup holder was cracked off on the dash board, the tpms light was on and was broken, the front grill was cracked, the side marker light covers were cracked, the tow hook cover on the bumper was missing, all 4 rims were chipped and had curb rash.
When I brought this to the attention of the salesman he said they would take care of it but that didn't happen, but I was still
charged the $2300 certification fee that was a ripoff in itself but that is not my main problem with this dealership. In the finance office Amron the finance manager is telling me I need to get gap insurance, some glass etching done for anti theft and I needed to buy a warranty in order for me to get financing from the bank for $3500 at this point I just signed the paperwork because a was so tierd an fed up because I was there for about 6 hours or more.
I believe this is a tactic they purposefully use so people just sign their lives away because they just want to go home.
Anyway, the next day I looked over my paperwork and it states in the warranty paperwork that you do not need to purchase the warranty to obtain financing. I filled out the cancellation form and sent it to GWC warrany company certified mail on 02/13/13 I did not hear anything from them and didnt follow up so I assumed they were not going to cancel it because of some other issue so I kind of just forgot about it and excepted that I got screwed and lesson learned.
So today I was looking at my warranty paperwork and I realized I do not have ID cards. I called gwc today 8/27/13 to ask for my ID cards and the woman said that my warranty was cancelled as of 04/01/13 and the money was refunded to KG Suzuki.
It has been 5 months and I have not recieved my refund of $3500 from Amron the finance manager at KG Suzuki or any paperwork regarding the cancelation of my warranty. I called the dealership twice today to speak with him but of course he was not available and they took down my number and he never called me back. I will call again today and if I don't get to speak to him I will go there in person tomorrow.
Please do yourselves a favor and stay far far away from this place. If I don't get this resolved soon go guess I will have no choice but to take them to court.
