I answered an ad on facebook about adopting an dog.  The woman said she had moved to the Isle of Man and I would have to split the cost of the transport which was $60.00.  She then proceeded to tel me there were fees to pay in order to ship the puppy internationally.  Then there was problems with the puppy's health and needed medical attention which I sent the money, being soft hearted).  this had gone on until they claimed the puppy died while in their care.  I had paid insurance premiums to insure the puppy's delivery to me.  I then was told that the insurance would pay out but I would have to pay a fee.  I have paid fees until I am now $58,000.00 in the hole.  They kept reassuring me to pay this "LAST PAYMENT" and I would receive the first installment.  This has been going on for the past 2 years.  I have since lost my home and all of my savings.  I'm not a young person and have nothing to fall back on now in my retirement.  I have written to the Attorney General of the United States and have gotten file numbers and nothing else.  Now they have involved Western Union so all the correspondence I get from them is from a Westn Union office.
