Lango Kids LV Karyn Depari Enterprises Spanish Teachers don't speak Spanish! Las Vegas Nevada
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Mia and Mike Yasukawa
*Consumer Comment: Really?
I asked Karyn Depari to cancel my children's after school spanish class after observing the class being insructed in English and then having the teacher admit to me she knows very little spanish and that maybe she would be replaced.. We had only attended one class in a 10 week session and I was taken to small claims court instead of given any sort of refund. God forbid she honor the website claim and hire experienced, fluent, native speaking teachers for "full immersion classes"

Mia and Mike Yasukawa were allowed to register their child Cali Yasukawa and her brother, in this afterschool class, even though their children did not attend that school. Mia Yasukawa was informed when registering over the phone, that a free trial class only applied to retail locations, and that all school based classes were discounted, therefore not eligible for a free trial. Mia Yasukawa was offered a free class at a retail location, but wanted to attend the school based class because her friend’s kids went there and were enrolled in afterschool Spanish. I find it odd that Mia Yasukawa says the class was in English, not only because that’s silly, but because she was on her phone the entire time. At times she separated herself from me and the kids, but at the end of class she did not.
The only person speaking English was she! I had to ask her if she could take her phone call away from earshot of the class. Later I came to realize, that Mia Yasukawa wasn’t interested in Spanish classes after all. She was looking for a Latino woman to babysit and speak Spanish to her children in her home. Much easier for Mia Yasukawa to approach one of my teachers after class, ask if they would be interested in a nanny gig, then cancel and/or complain to get her money back. Mia Yasukawa learned this trick from her friend Jennifer Fontes, who’s children were also registered and present that day. Jennifer Fontes also complained afterward, even though her kids had already had a free class at a retail site AND, she had already recruited one of my Spanish teachers to work for her privately. Would it be too much to assume that Mia Yasukawa was actually on the phone with Jennifer Fontes?
Conjuring up a plan B since the teacher wasn’t Latino, she was the owner! (BTW Ella estaba ensenando en espanol.) Of course I had never met Jennifer Fontes, but as the owner I had seen a few free class requests come through, which were abilged. Her M.O, enroll, meet the teacher, make an offer, then drop. Obviously, both Jennifer Fontes and Mia Yasukawa were disappointed when they learned "the teacher” was me! I would suggest to both of them, do not prey on small businesses for your daycare needs. It is dishonest. The true "Rip Offs” are Mia Yasukawa and Jennifer Fontes. Which is why Mia Yasukawa was fined $2,500 by the small claims court judge. Mike Yasukawa can answer later for his bribe to judge Bennett through his Mandarin Oriental Hotel contacts, where he hobnobs with crooked VIPs willing to do him a favor.

What is the reason your children need to learn Spanish??? The language of this country is ENGLISH!!! Moving to Mexico?? I suggest you just get the hell out of MY country and take your family with you. SPANISH is not the official language of this country - if you want your kids to learn Spanish then move to MEXICO and see how long it take for them to deport you.
Sick of this crap - sick of paying taxes to support illegals who REFUSE to learn ENGLISH and supporting them through welfare.
