Ive never had the need to seek out legal representation until my father passed away suddenly.I needed somone who would be on my side and in my corner to assist me through a rough patch and legal battle . I am from sacramento and i wanted someone to represent me who had the small town charm and attention to clients, or so i thought.

i found raquel silva on yelp, thinking that she would be a safe choice given her seemingly good reviews.

Silva saw that I was in an emotional state that she could easily take advantage of me.
The very first thing she wanted within 5 minuts of talking to me was a big fat payment , an advancement of funds. Her request was for 6000 Thousand dollars just to get started and to have a further look into things

within 1 week she requested an additional 4000 thousand dollars.at the time i didnt know any better.  so that was more than 10,000 in total i had invested just for her legal advice or to have her look things over and advise me if there was anything we could do .

she took me for all  i was worth and cleaned out my savings .

however looking back i realize that this was the first sign that things were going down hill. once my payments cleared. she was very difficult to contact. her assistant kept screening my calls.silva missed an important deadline with regards to the legal process. nothing was getting done.

i started showing up in person to her office to try to get updates. over and over i was told she was "out for the day" or "not in". I waited and i waited , for something, anything! no such luck.

finally after weeks of the run around. i caught her sneaking into her office from her car, with shopping bags from the mall over flowing in her hands. her assistant told me that she loves to shop till she drops! thinking that this was some how funny! i for 1 didnt find this little pun to be the least bit funny!

at least then i knew where my money had gone!

i am lucky to have stumbled on this site when i was googleing raquel silva in hopes to locate her home address and contact her personally to try to get an update or my money back.

when i go to her office even now 3 months in total after i hired her. i have had Zero progress on my case, and not even 1 meeting, never a phone call or an update . except for the time i stopped her after her shopping spree and begged her to help me out. she refused. claiming that she was too busy with other cases. and that i would have to wait my turn.

ive spent a lot of sleepless nights wondering if ill ever see my 10,000 dollars again or wondering if i should keep giving her more money in hopes to motivate her to work. my husband says that im being "taken"

was anyone else able to get their funds back from raquel silva? if you did could you please email me or phone me?

after doing a bit of digging i found out that a lot of her reviews are fake. ofcourse. i dont know how yelp or google lets this happen. i see that there are a lot of other people out there she has scammed.
