On Thursday December 18th 2014 I went to see Richard Bag, ESQ after an initial phone conversation a few days prior. He was going to provide Personal Chapter 7 Bankruptcy services and after he told me that he could handle my case and there would be no problem in getting my case discharged I wrote him a check for $1750 - full retainer - since time was of the essence.

A couple of weeks went by and I have not heard a word from, except for a couple of emails he sent stating he would have my case ready to file in the next few days. After almost two months of nothing happening and after meeting with another bankruptcy attorney who stated he never heard of him at the eastern district courts, I requested a refund. 

He emailed me saying he had a "medical emergency" and that the check would have to be postdated almost a month down the road. When I picked up my documents and check, I noticed the check he wrote was from a completely different company (OGB Design) and was posted 35 days from the date I requested the refund. Sure enough, 35 days later I verified the check with the bank and it would not clear - insufficient funds. He completely scammed me and committed a federal crime prost-dating a check he knew would not clear from an entity other than his own. I hope everyone reads this so he can't take advantage of anyone else's desperate situation when trying to file bankruptcy.
