Lazy Boy Furniture has very lazy customer service.  I purchased an extended warranty for a  $1200 power recliner chair.  After 16 months, a plastic piece broke and the leg support would no longer lift.  I had purchased an extended warranty for $82 which turned out to be a lazy joke.  As is reflected in other internet filings, the lazy Lazy Boy corporation and some lazy individual stores (i.e. Pleasant Hill) care only about sales and nothing about customer satifaction and product guarantees.  The Lazy Boy culture is very Lazy.  I spent literally days trying to get my chair repaired even though I had purchased an extended warranty. The lazy management at the Pleasant Hill office were anything but pleasant and helpful.  The main offices in Florida and California did not stand behind their product and, furthermore, they did not give a hoot about some disgruntled customer.  Obviously, they have been lazing in their Lazy Boy while they lazily count the customer's money.  When there is a problem, they do not even get out of their showroom Lazy Boy, they just sit there and laugh.  My recourse? Warn others, over and over and over, and never purchase another lazy Lazy Boy product.  Thank  you,  Chapo

While you may have purchased a warrenty, YOUR particular situation probably is not covered. While Im 100% sure ranting online and calling them lazy makes YOU feel better, the ONLY thing they can do is WHAT is in the terms and conditions of the warrenty that you agreed to. Did you READ the warrenty?? Probably not. Since your warrenty was ONLY under $100 that tells me its an EXTENDED MANUFACTURER WARRENTY!! Which means that ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE is NOT covered unless actually specified in the T&C. With all of the frivolous lawsuits that Americans make, you have to understand that they are ONLY doing what is legally allowed. While YOU may think nothing of making a stink online, THEY have to follow the rules that THIER bosses have handed down. One of those rules is that no matter how much you whine and complain THEY are ONLY allowed to do what the warrenty states.
