The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Melanie Goldman during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards L’Core Paris.

L'Core Paris is a luxury skincare and beauty brand that specializes in anti-aging. L'Core Paris focuses on providing their customers with the highest quality products that showcase amazing results. Melanie Goldman stated the following about her company, "our vision is to achieve a world known brand, high-end luxury cosmetics, and beauty products. Our business model is to go through our stores and wholesale channels."

Leads for L'Core Paris are primarily obtained by customers who come into their physical shop, or who are looking for high-quality cosmetics Online. Ms. Goldman described the sales process in store, "they're going to get a sales person to do a demonstration, explain the products, and how they are used. They will try to find out the skin concern of the customer, and from there choose which products to do the demonstration." Ms. Goldman expressed that their most common complaint arises when customers who visit their physical store feel as if they were not should how to use the product appropriately. She further stated, "they think that they receive a different product from the one that they try in stores because they don't see the same result." In order to remedy this L'Core Paris is working on different methods of training to ensure that communication with customers is uniform.

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Ms. Goldman stated the following, "All the comments are directed towards the same issues which is customer service in stores especially when it comes to the descriptions of how to use the products because that’s the main concern. They think that they receive a different product from the one that they try in stores because they don’t see the same result." There are often different methods by which employees will describe how to use the products, "but with the environment that we are trying to create right now we are going to avoid all of these misconceptions." In addition to taking proactive measures to ensure customer satisfaction, L'Core Paris takes great pride in the quality of their products. Ripoff Report would like to let readers know that Ripoff Report emailed this customer so the member business could make things right with them. When a business joins the Corporate Advocacy Program, Ripoff Report emails everyone from the past so the member business can make things right with them. Of course, everything within reason. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer. The author of the Ripoff Report below never responded to our offer to help them.


STATEMENT FROM L’CORE PARIS:


What is false: we NEVER sell fake products. All our products are original, the only reason people think it is fake is because they did not get good customer service so employees would not tell them the proper way to use the product, so if they apply it wrong of course they won't see results. As to bargaining the products, it started as a way to make our products popular but we are changing that as well so there will be promotional packages but with fixed prices. What is true: Again, bad customer service. We did not control what our employees were saying to clients, we trained them and trusted they were going to do a good job and represent us well, but we became aware that the sales force is not complying with our training. We are putting all our efforts to re train, reeducate sales force with correct product information and instructions on how to use, to make sure we have a sales team that is knowledgeable of the products and putting penalties for bad customer service so we make sure this never happens again.

During our stay in Las Vegas at the Rio All Suite Resort we were lured into a small store named L'Core Paris.  Amit Bar offered a demo of the product that would reduce puffy undereyes.  The product was effective at that time.  He proceeded to sell us, under pressure, the Line Correction Black Mamba and eye serum.  After negotiating the price, which he claims he saved us hundreds of dollars, we ended up spending $540.00.  He offered to give me a facial at no cost so we went back to the store for the facial - which was our mistake!!!  Amit did the facial and also did a 'neck lift'.  Yes, the product work wonderful at that time.  Amit told us that Celine Dion used their products.  We ended up purchasing that line of product which the price started out as $3,000.  We said no to the purchase.  After pressuring tactics, he lowered the price to $1297.00.  We paid it and he agreed to ship the products to our home.  When we arrived to our room, we opened the Black Mamba and eye serum products and noticed that neither of the products were protected by a proctective seal - that was my first concern.  We did continue to apply the Black Mamba and serum before we went to bed that night.  Amit's instructions were to use these products for 7 nights straight and then 1 time a week.  When we woke up the next morning - the puffiness was still there and our eyes and the surrounding tissue was red and inflamed.  We thought possibly the product would take a couple of nights to get better results - which they continued to inflame our skin.  We emailed and called Amit immediately and received no reply until 3 day later.  He only emailed us - never a call, which when he sold us the products he said he would be available by phone to speak to us anytime we had any questions.  In his emails he never addressed the issue - his responses were always 'no refund can be issued'.  Actually the last email I received from his stated "My dear I have told you again and again there are no refunds....." and he gave me the customer service phone number.  


Our other second order had come UPS and we refused the package.  


I called the customer service phone number and finally got through to Chantele, which she claims to be the Manager.  She took my information and said that a Stephanie would be calling me - I have heard nothing to this date.  


I believe the products that L'Core Paris sent home with us and the products that were mailed are not the same products that they demonstrated in the store.  The products that they sent us home with burned our eyes and face and we are still trying to rehydrate our faces.  This is an example of bait and switch.
