Lear Financial - Kevin DeMeritt - David Fox Don't believe there guaranteed buyback at any time. Santa Monica California

I inquired about buying some gold from saleman of Lear Financial, David Fox. David convinced me to purchase some $10 Liberty coins instead of maple leafs or kruggerands. The liberties had half a ounce of gold instead of the full ounce that the others would have. His pitch was that these coins were pre 1933 and were not subject to taxes if I were to profit from them. He informed me that these mint condition $10 liberties with a grade of MS 63 had a value of $4900 back in 1989. Per coin. So I bought 5 coins for $1155 a piece plus shipping for a total of $5812 Maybe I overpaid which is my own fault. Spot gold went for $466 per ounce on 10-03-05, I bought these $10 liberties on 10-04-05. But what disturbed me was when I called David to sell these coins spot gold had risen to over $700 per ounce. When I asked him what he would pay me for these coins it was less than the $5812 that I paid. Even when the spot price was up over $234 per ounce. He said each coin had a service fee of $250. So I don't think it matters what happens to the price of gold does, the service fee will just follow the increase at whatever the price of gold increases. I first heard about this company by listening to the Rush Limbaugh show. I am shocked that he will do business with these crooks.

I have resolved this dispute with Lear Financial. I contacted David Fox and he assured me that there would be no selling fee. I returned the 5 coins In december, and david made good on his payment to me. I am completely satisfied.
