If you want to visit Cancun, don't use one of the Palace Resorts, especially LeBlanc Spa. They'll rip you off from the moment you book your vacation until after you leave if you let them. We booked an "all inclusive" vacation which was supposed to include tours of the ruins, bullfights, dinner cruise, and a city tour. Our room was to have an ocean view. When we arrived, we were told that our room was ready. We asked about the oceanview and were told we could "put our name on the waiting list" for one. The food and drink were plentiful and very good quality, but when we ask about any of the tours, we were told it would be $50 to $75 each per excursion extra.
We had also been told by both the booking agency and the hotel that the hotel could take care of shipping things home for us so that we wouldn't risk getting them broken. HAH! They charged us nearly $200 to ship our things home and it took them eight months to even start that. They shipped our things after going through them and taking out "hotel property" such as robes and sandals we had bought and the daily amenities left in our room. When the package got to Miami, Customs couldn't clear it because the list of items had no dollar amounts. Even though I sent FedEx a detailed list with monetary values, the box was returned to LeBlanc who, without even notifying me, had FedEx destroy the box though I guess that means someone got my souvenirs to keep as well as someone at the hotel pocketing the difference in the shipping costs.
If I ever get a chance to stay at an all inclusive spa/resort, you can be sure the name "Palace" will not be anywhere in the title.

After trying to get my package home from Cancun, it made it all the way to Miami but because the hotel hadn't entered monetary amounts on the items left in the box, it was returned. I called FedEx and the hotel trying to get the box returned but after 10 days the hotel had FedEx destroy it. Now I have no souvenirs, a very sour outlook on Cancun and a bitter taste in my mouth about the practices of the booking agent in Miami.
