     Lee Memorial Health Systems continues to look the other way when it comes to their own Injured workers. For years now complaints have trickled down through various agencies describing the lack of care and medical attention provided to their injured workers. Their Workers Comp department has dropped the ball once again in failing to provide even simple medications to address their injured employees pain needs.

     This facility prides its self on giving the "best medical care" to their patients, but when it comes to their injured employees they continuously ignore even the simplest requests for medications. They employ an internal Workers Comp Department which at times is impossible to contact. And when you’re lucky enough to speak to their Adjuster, Tami Viebrock, the gross unprofessionalism is disturbing. This adjuster constantly declines to provide pharmacies claim information regarding their injured workers to hinder the pharmacies from filling prescriptions that are prescribed by their Doctors, making it near impossible for these workers to get the necessary medications they require.

     On numerous occasions the injured employees are denied even simple over the counter medications like Ibuprofen and are flat out refused therapy options. The cries from these injured workers have been heard so many times it’s a wonder how they’re keep getting away with this. Its an anomaly how a company fails over and over to provide the very service to their own employees that they so energetically pride themselves on providing their paying customers. When will it stop?
