We need your help. We feel Legacy Homes has scammed us. I do not think that our home passed building inspection, our roof caved in 3 times and we now have had to threaten lawsuit to get them to finally come over to look at our complaint.

We have a baby bedding business and have lost
thousands of dollars due to mold damage; our house has been on the market and cannot sell. We need serious legal representation and do not know where to start.

Our walls warped inside and instead of replacing
the studs and beams they came in with a hatchet and hacked away at our studs in the walls until they could float drywall over the damages. We had to reduce a 400,000 dollar appraised home to possibly sell it to an
investor. 22 homes in our subdivision the peak at promontory. They didn't come out to do their 11month inspection until after the 2yr mark which was July.

In the process of all the requested repairs they sent an
employee over Joe Molina their building superintendent, who came over to my home several times while I was not there making advances to my wife. I had to request that this man not come to my home anymore and he still had the nerve to come over again.

we found out that there was no survey at the time of close of escrow, we just got legacy to do a survey a few
months ago (mind you we closed in July 2006) and the survey was because the HOA was putting up a fence which was about to cross directly through my front lawn and cut off my builder installed sprinkler system. I asked
them to move the fence over 6 inches and then the questions came from other neighbors, one who lost 4 feet of his front lawn, and they are refusing to move my fence over to the proper location which they claim
that they are allowed to have a 10 inch variance from our property line into our property.

The builder is blaming San Antonio Fence Company and
San Antonio Fence Company is blaming legacy, in the meanwhile we are now stuck with a huge loss of income and are getting behind on our mortgage with a house that we cannot sell.

On top of this, the sales counselor who sold us the home told us that the home was ready, and that we would
lose our 65,000 down deposit if we didn't come to close immediately, stated she was standing in front of our home and it was done. When my wife quit her job, children were checked out of school, loaded up cats,
dogs and birds vehicles and moving truck, only to arrive to a house that didn't even have a driveway poured! Then we ended up having to move into a house and live for 6 months before it closed. We have turned in
several repair requests.

I also had to call City Public Service energy to get them to check our HVAC because we have had unreasonably high bills even being on their peak saver program, and an HVAC inspector came out to check our ac/heating system and found it to be defective, they also said that our insulation in our ceiling was inadequate for some rooms and explained that the leaking water in the furnace room was due to missing boot jacks
on the roof.

I told this to legacy, and a manager form Airtron came out with a crew and added more putty inside the air handler closet half of the house heats up like a sauna right after it rains possibly due to and recently the last straw was when my wife called the Legacy hotline
and told them yet again for the 3rd time this week that our things are ruined and our home needs repair, they said "what are you calling me
for" Is this because I am black that I am being treated this way? or, is it because my wife is white and I am black? I don't think that if it
were anyone else, these things would be happening.

Legacy has ripped us off! I don't know where else to turn. I am a veteran of the desert shield desert storm era, have been away from Texas since 1983 and only
back 3yrs now and I would never advise any other veteran to buy a home from legacy if I could send that message to all my fellow veterans.

This is not the American dream. Our home is a disaster underneath the surface.
