Lens.com, Inc. Defective Lenses all 6 pairs Louisiana Missouri
I ordered 6 pair (2 Boxes) of Biofinity Contact Lenses online from Lens.com. The total cost with shipping and handling was $90.91. I ordered these lenses on 6-26-13. Once I received them I immediately opened the first box to put in the first new pair. To my surprise, upon viewing the first pair of lenses, they were already full of bubbles or calcium deposits, as if they had been worn for a time or were just defective. I went ahead and put them in just figuring it was one bad pair out of 6. I couldn't wear them for the extended period of a month as they are supposed to be worn because they irritated my eyes with the calcium deposits. I had to change the new lenses within two weeks and then opened the second package of lenses. This pair was also defective. I didn't want to open the remaining 4 boxes at that time because they would dry up too quickly but to make a long story short, every single pair of lenses, all 12 lenses, were defective. I have never been so upset in my life. I will never order from these people again and I had my doubts when I did so in the beginning but thought I'd give it a try. I did not save each individual package because I just didn't think to do that however, I still have the box that each 6 pairs came in. I emailed the company and they told me I should call. I didn't bother because their "money back guarantee" is only good if you have the individual packages I'm assuming. So now it is only October and the lenses should have lasted at least another month or two and none of them were good. I had better luck with Walmart Eye Center and will go there before I ever order this type of product online.
