LifePath Unlimited, owned and run by Joe Neid (Carefree, AZ) and Dave MacKenzie (Hawaii) is a world-wide Direct Sales home business opportunity focusing on personal development.  Unfortunately, Joe and Dave have taken the money they've made (reported by them personally as over 25 million) and run.  Without notice to any of their independent sales reps (associates), the company ceased operating even though their website remains active.  Sales of events has been going on for over two years even though Joe Neid himself recently told a disgruntled associate that the company had been in trouble for more than two years.  There is currently a list of more than 40 people who have paid for event tickets who have not been given an event or a refund.  Joe Neid has stated that he's "lost his family, his home, and his life because of LPU" -- and yet, despite the fact that LPU has been "quietly laid to rest in its coffin", and despite the fact that both Joe and Dave are now each promoting other direct sales opportunities (both again claiming to be making $10K/day and having $50K weeks) no refunds or restitution have been offered to LPU associates who have paid for and hold tickets that are now worthless.  A Breakthrough ticket, which nearly every one of these unfortunate associates has, cost them each $8995.  And a Destiny ticket, which most are also holding, cost them $14,995.  Do the math -- that's an investment of $24,000 for some of them.  Even with LPU only getting half the retail and the selling associates getting the other as commission, it's easily around $400,000 that Dave MacKenzie and Joe Neid have swindled their trusting associates out of.

Associates have written letters requesting refunds and more information about what is going on for over a year, but most have not gotten any answers.  Joe Neid has finally, after associates have begun to bring this thing to the public forum, begun to respond to their complaints -- but his response has been one of "poor me, look what I've lost, why are you bashing me online?"  He continues to claim that he'll make good on his responsibilities and provide an event -- but for what purpose, and if he's so broke, with what money?  Associates no longer want an event as there is no business to build on them, no LPU exists to promote, and they've been left wondering what to do next.

Breakthrough events have, and interestingly still are (since the website is still up) promoted and advertised (and promised) as occurring twice yearly, and Destiny events as being held once a year.  However, no Breakthrough event has occurred since late 2010, and no Destiny event since 2011.  Breakthrough was scheduled, and then cancelled last minute on three separate occasions between January 2011 and September 2012.

Had Joe Neid and Dave MacKenzie been honest about the problems and where the company was going, had they provided refunds instead of going into hiding, or had they simply stopped selling tickets once it became obvious that they were not going to be able to fulfill their promises, most associates would've been understanding.  But both men fell silent and quietly slipped off the radar, refusing to answer emails, letters, and phone messages for months.  It wasn't until associates began to fight back by taking their story public that either of them began making excuses for what happened.

Avoid these men at all costs.  They will take your money to keep themselves afloat and leave you with nothing to show for your investment.  And do not believe their claims of being able to make $10K a day, or any other ridiculous amount, as both admitted to having trouble making money themselves in LPU, and that's why they chose to move on to other opportunities.  Unfortunately, they moved on with our money in their pockets.
